@gameoverdude Pickles are great. Going to restock the pickles and chutney shelf in my fridge today. This thread makes me happy.

In a bowl mix baked beans, large dollop of ketchup, finely chopped clove of garlic and LOADS of black pepper.
Toast two thick slices of bread and generously apply real butter. Heat bean mixture in microwave.

Place one slice of toast on plate, pour half the beans over, put second slice on top, pour remaining beans over, put back in microwave for thirty seconds. Eat and enjoy 😋 .
Dont know if it technically fits the legal definition of a toastie but it’s darn good.

Yeah, can't beat a classic. The best one really.

A red pepper, onion and cheese one is nice as well.

A chopped-up minute steak, green pepper and mozzarela cheese one is the business if you're starving and have time to go fancy.

A plain cheese one with garlic butter really hits the spot about an hour before a pizza.

Christ, I'm starving.
