Manhattan SX Freesat box

I have a Manhattan SX Freesat box. It works perfectly except I can't get it to connect to WiFi. I have tried using both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands. Every other device in the house works fine. Any ideas what could be wrong?

strange one - could it be intergerence around the box . try changing the wifi channel on 2.4 and see

id also turn off and reboot the modem for 10 minutes . it might be a modem issue

I believe this box only uses WiFi for software updates. The latest software update is v1.10 released in 2021:

i had the impression it downloads some tv guide / set up info .

I tried connecting the box to my phone's hotspot and it connected straight away. It's strange why it won't work with my home broadband. I've tried both 2.4 and 5ghz on the router and the WiFi extender. My phone is Vodafone 5g and my home broadband is Vodafone 5g also. Every other device in the house works fine with the broadband.

its the modem - try move the box a bit or move the modem higher - seems a modem issue

This was the original idea, you get nothing now.

might be theres a higher encrption level on your modem as to the older box also
