Ok thanks I didn't know that it is still there. There used to be a bookshop The Alchemist's Head in East Essex Street which I used to visit after Books Upstairs .I was reading about the AH yesterday which reminded me of BU . I'm right re location corner Fleet and Westmoreland St?

    Edit .I see it's in D'olier Street

Yes, they moved a few years ago to D'Olier street.

Lovely bookstore, great variety of books and you can find some titles that may not be readily available in the bigger book stores.

Upcoming gigs and events: Dry Cleaning, The Shawshank Redemption, Sprints, These Charming Men, Sasha Velour, Disorder Festival, David Byrne, The Cure, Garbage, Bob The Drag Queen, Sigur Ros, Olafur Arnalds, Cabaret Voltaire, Angine de Poitrine, Cardinals

Thanks for posting that .I knew it didn't look right on the map having it in D'olier Street . Didn't it used to be in Fleet street .I recall going up by Trinity ,I think?, * going around right and it was across the road.? Ona corner with another street?

I used to continue to the Alchemist's Head. I still have a book from the AH

*I'll have to look at the map again
