I don’t really care about the media comments and only talking about the team and I don’t think had any complacency but wanted desperately to win to avenge the WC loss

I have access to NZ media and they do a lot of talking as well, Irish don’t seem to get as wound up as NZ and Bok fans so we don’t see the same online reactions

The Bok constantly go on about Irish media yet have a listen to theirs and it’s a lot worse than anything Irish tv has ever said

Let them off, at least Ireland is good enough for them to get wound up about our media, before that we didn’t even register on the World rugby stage

Williams is spot on. The bookies have Ireland as -13.5, so the vast majority of people don't give Argentina much of a chance.

Virgin the real interesting sub is predergast

Sorry lads but the real interesting one is Clarkson and not Predergast. Front row is more problematic than 10

The Virgin media player is truly awful. Have to sit through a 30 second ad almost constantly for any action.

    ARGENTINA will win this

All depends on the old cliche of "Which Argentina team will turn up?".

    Ireland by 12

I think we’ll see a reaction and win by 3+ scores.

Very worried about this one. First 10 minutes will tell a story as to where we are in relation to last week.

    Crowley howler intercept.

But was he clattered in the head earlier?

That’s a red card and a disallowed try.

brilliant step from him on the finish - we look switched on which is great.

Ah, that's a red. Leading with the head, clear view of what he's doing. Mitigation shouldn't come into it, never legal.

Lovely Crowley! Hopefully that settles us!

Fantastic start....good to see this response after last week

Great stuff from Crowley. Keystone cops stuff for their disallowed try, raft of missed tackles.

Lovely floated pass by JGP and clever inside one by Beirne

Beirne brilliant there, pass inside to Mack and took the tackle

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 9,571 ✭✭✭fitz

    That's a cracking try.

You always know with Ireland in the first 5-10 mins if the sharpness is there and we’re on it. We obviously weren’t last week, but we absolutely are tonight. Great start.

Completely missed restart from Joe McCarthy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,090 ✭✭✭DellyBelly

    That's awful by Ryan....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,865 ✭✭✭leakyboots

And now a simple spillage in the red zone from James Ryan

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 36,491 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

I saw that conversion go over!

Great speed to width, lovely hands from Beirne to take advantage of the line and effort from Hansen. Really lovely stuff.

Staying yellow for low degree of danger . Don't agree

Considering Crowley shrugged it off, it's hard to argue.
