    Measles McGee.

Children will have to suffer easily preventable diseases to make America great again.

    Their sacrifice will go unnoticed.

what was wrong with appointing Rudi Gillian’s to the position. ? He is much more experienced than Gatz . And he was the one guy that was there for Trump - through thick and thin- when Trump was trying to prove that the election was stolen. Those he not therefor qualify because of his total support for Trump!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;. Maybe Trump has some other position in mind for him. eg when Trump is inaugurated in January he will pardon him for all ‘sins and then appoint him to something!!!!!!!

So this "Department" will have no funding, so no oversight.

It will operate outside the reach of congress.

One assumes giving there is no funding this work will be done remotely, with no security clearance.

They should just email the line by line budget of the likes of the CIA to Moscow and Tehran now, save them the hassle of downloading it from Kim Dotcom.

Do any of the people you've cited believe autism is caused by vaccines? He's notorious for his anti vaccine views. On top of that, you've ignored the fact that it was highly illegal what he did to the whales corpse and he was well aware of that.

You really are gonna spend the next 4 years jumping through hoops to justify whatever you need to.

The current US Health secretary Xavier Becerra is a lawyer and politician with no health experience.

He barely scraped through, the main sticking point was his apparent disregard for religion.

RFK's main sticking point should be his disregard for science, but he will sail through.

    America 2024.

To do what he plans will involve essentially going to war with some of the biggest corporations in the US, including massively reducing the profitability of these. That would lead to massive job losses.

If Trump gets a sniff of a policy leading to massive job losses he will shut that down. Trump and Kennedy are going to have major conflict very fast. Kennedy will either quit or be fired.

How quaint. You still believe Trump isn't in fact the pocket of vested interests and the rhetoric he professes isnt just to hoodwink the feeble minded. Bless

Would it ‘suit’ the Democrats if ALL of Trumps appointments are approved by all attending Republicans in the Senate and the House so that if and , say, when a significant number of these appointments ‘ mess up’ the Demos Can say ‘WE TOLD YOU SO’ etc, etc, etc, etc, . Very useful information to have come the next election

if he flushes out some of the RINOs’ what does he/ what can he do with them? I assume that he cannot sack them - they are there for the full term. Their position is strengthened if they intend not going up again. The main problem , IMO, for them is that they may come under pressure by those who voted the in and continually ‘ hassle’, etc, etc, them - maybe even threaten their lives

Israel will be loving Trump back in charge.

the only difference I see between Trump and Putin re consolidating control of government is that Putin uses ALL MEANS to get rid of any opposition from trumped up charges leading to long term jail sentences, to objectors being driven to falling out the proverbial window, to ‘unexplained ‘ deaths , to poisonings, to plane crashes, to being gunned down, etc, etc, etc, etc. WHILE TRUMP intends just SACKING them or/and bring charges against them and let the courts deal with them. At least put them under pressure/ Hassle them, etc, etc, etc.

Did Trump appoint Ramaswamy to "DOGE" to rub against Musk or to rein him in/take over, if he loses the Trump plot?

Can you give examples to support why you think RFK is a 'solid' guy and why you have confidence that he will get stuff done?

Because I feel posts like this are not being made in good faith but only are intended to antagonize, so as it's a discussion Board, do you want to discuss your statement with supporting evidence?

It's extremely rare that the Senate would vote against a presidential pick.

It's rare again that a candidate may be withdrawn when it becomes apartment because the support isn't there.

Biden had to withdraw a candidate last time for some lower level position because it was unearthed that she had some historical "mean" tweets. Extremely timid stuff.

The majority of presidential picks get bipartisan support, sometimes going into the 90%+.

The likes of Rubio will get bipartisan support.

No Democrat is putting their name to the likes of Gaetz or RFK though.

If they are voted through the Republican Senators will have to 100% own them.

Usually though a President would not put forward a bunch of degenerates, criminals and clowns and would never put the Senate in the position to having to choose.

    Things are different now.

LOL. No. He means the federal government in this tweet.

His target is firing 75% of federal employees.

First to be completely obliterated is the FBI.

His plan is quite genius actually, he is just going to put a cross through it.

He has since updated his plan, he is just going fire everyone in the FBI.

Remember now, no congressional oversight on this Department, work to be done by unqualified unpaid employees on the internet.

    What could possibly go wrong.

You could be right. You could also have a situation where free vaccine programs for children are increasingly pushed away from the State and more and more towards private insurance. We end up seeing important shots becoming a premium "perk" for those who care enough about it / have enough money to cover the costs. These companies would be quite ok with that.

My hope is that RFK is too feckless to enact anything, but my fear is that an Anti-vax run US Health System might lead to a situation where US Citizens may not be able to enter the EU (for example) without an extensive vacination card attached to their arrival documentation. Similarly, travel to the US might require futher measures to protect travellers from the storm of once extinct diseases that would likely go to town on a unvaccinated population.

It would create a constant logisitical headache on trans-Atlantic travel as well as the needless suffering & death of many people in the US. All for the sake of placating a person how holds the childish position of not wanting to get an injection becuase of a baseless conspiracy theory.

While prescription drug use is very high in the states, what does "some sort of medication" really mean? What drugs are included? Could the pill or general painkillers be counted as "some sort of medication"? If so, that'll really skew the result.

"The main problem , IMO, for them is that they may come under pressure by those who voted the in and continually ‘ hassle’, etc, etc, them - maybe even threaten their lives"

That sort of thing. And keeping the shìt stirred so he remains the centre of attention.

There should be a special place for him in Dante's hell (a little hermetically sealed cubicle where he can see out but nobody can see in.

Kennedy, like everyone on Trump's list will end up just doing what they are told to do. That's why they are getting the job.

It's easier to control the incompetent.

Interesting that Israel plans to intercept ballistic missiles (no ,I think it is drones)with lasers in the next year or so.

Maybe some part of that "story" was based on fact ?

For MTG there should be stone gargoyle likenesses made and placed around the Capitol grounds .

The real power in RFK Jr's role is going to be his oversight role:

I'd imagine having control over the FDA will be the one that he'll be especially excited about.

At the same time it'll be difficult for him to have any lasting changes. After all, do people really think that the Republican members of Congress - many of whom are bought and paid for by those large agri-food and pharma corporations, are going to pass any laws that would hurt those companies? They won't.

A big part of why Trump is picking these people is loyalty.

He is picking people he knows that he can trust unlike his first term.

The likes of John Bolton and co wont be getting a look in this time.

Pete Hegseth is Princeton and Harvard educated and had served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, up to the position of Major. I think he’ll be alright.

For anyone that has scoffed at the project 2025 playbook, the first week since his reelection looks like he’s following it pretty closely. Pliable idiots being given important roles, seems like the first step of bringing all federal departments to heel under one man.

I’m sure they’ll continue to scoff as these departments are gutted with any remaining only having their roles as long as the president allows it.
