    Hi,

I need to get two laptops for my kids (8 & 9) for Xmas. Roblox is a must, so what spec will I need?

Got them Fire tabs last year but they are not good enough. I was in Harvey Norman and Currys earlier today. They bombarded me with info. Currys are telling me to hold out till Black Friday, HN say that this will be their sale.

To be honest most mid priced windows laptops should run roblox on an integrated graphics chip with no issues.

How much are you looking to spend might a better starting point.

Does it have to be bricks and mortar store or are you happy to order online(Better value available)?

Do the laptops need to do anything else other than roblox.

My daughter would like to make games, eventually. Right now it's the novelty of it.

Kinda looking to keep below €300 each if possible.

I'm OK ordering online. I got a good Honor tablet back a few months ago from advice here.

Under 300 will get you a bottom of the barrel laptop. It should still be enough to run Roblox for game development you don't need a top of the line laptop but the better the specs and the more ram you have then the better experience it will be. Components and build quality and going to be pretty poor at that price point as well. I'd wait for the sales to see if you can get a bargain but I can't really advise you on what model is the best.

I'd advise you ask on the dedicated laptop forum as they would probably know better. Gamers usually want the newest, most powerful hardware which isn't helpful to you:
