Hi all, am considering buying a 2019 Volvo V90 D4 2.0ltr and am hearing all sorts of things regarding reliability.

Anyone have one and can shed some light on what the downfalls are?

    Thanks all 😊

Have a look at reviews on Honest John and Parkers. Parkers do Owner Reviews as well.

Are you doing a lot of miles, had a look of the ones for sale not many D5's (i've an xc90 with that engine). Go drive this seen as your in the market, it's a T8 inscription.

That launch generation of t6/T8 I found to be horrible (albeit in an XC90) in terms of economy and electric performance though. The electric motor just wasn’t up to it and the battery was too small. Fun to drive though. I think it was 22 when they were replaced with the decent efficient units.

Truth of the matter is I'm stuck between getting the Volvo V90 2019 one or an Alpha Romeo Stelvio 2018

Have one. Moved from a trusty S90 as needed the space. Rock solid. Zero issues on the S90 or V90 and I've racked up circa 300k km between both. Just about to get timing belt changed as current v90 (182 model) is at 170k

Previously had 520 touring. Prefer the V90

That's great to hear! The comfort of the Volvo is hard to beat also. Thanks for your reply! 👍

Just got my second one. A T6 Recharge. Had a T4 before this one. Can't fault either of them. Have had no issues and did about 100k km in the T4.
