My TA is nearly all house phones are voip , which I don't trust at all given my hassle getting one that works . Also if I need to get a medical alarm I won't trust it will work and I live in a mobile black spot

The cash machine . . I always enter believing It'll be me getting the call, while knowing deep down there's not much of a chance of ever winning.

Like the bulk of the day-trippers there too, they probably couldn't name any of the NZ players nor understand the rules.

Those thank whore morons on YouTube who go round every old video questioning "who's still watching in 2024?"

Watching the rugby last night and having no idea why a penalty was awarded. Bunch of lads jumped on the ball and after a while the referee blows up for some reason. In soccer it's clear when someone trips someone or handles the ball

Is rugby the only sport in the world where the ref constantly has to tell the players the rules of the game to stop them fouling?

"You have to use it, you have to use it"

    "Release it, release it now"

    "Don't, don't, don't..."

    "Roll away green, roll away.."

Do the players not know these rules, that they constantly have to be told them?

MTV 90’s has been replaced by effing MTV Christmas on my Sky Stream box

A blemish that quite regularly develops on my cheek has re-appeared. Of course, everytime it does, I just have to pick at it and a tiny bit of thin blood trickles out and dries on my skin. Look in the mirror, repeat the habit.

    Very TAing.

People at hotel breakfast buffets who go the opposite direction to everyone else in the hot food queue. Or who spend ages seemingly reading the allergens of each item- its a sausage love, I'm sure you've had one before and know if you can eat it.

Whats app group work/college chats where people post things nothing to do with the chat in the first place.

Just undermine the premise of BCE/CE being politically correct by referring to them as Before Christian Era & Christian Era , 😁

Common Era. There's a thread about lists of things from this era.

There's these ads on TV now basically saying your vote is yours and not to let others make choice for you.

There all these little "comedy" sketch and they look like they were scripted by TY students.

supposed to be getting a clothing delivery tomorrow. But on my account there is no record of the order plus I didn’t get an email which is weird though I used the correct one.

I did screenshot the confirmation thankfully and it was 100% confirmed that the order was successful and correct details given… ‘Your order is confirmed’.

I’ll not be amused if I’m going into the week having to be again chasing up businesses to provide a service and products I’ve paid them for. 🤦🏻‍♂️

When a company makes a Christmas ad, and its actually quite nice, well made and heartwarming. You go aaah, thats nice.

And they then play it every six seconds on every single tv station, every imaginable website, the side of passing blimps and laser displayed directly onto the moon and it gets to the point where you absolutely hate it.

Restraint is badly lacking in advertising.

Ah, I didn't really, or rather, I chose to ignore it…in order to indicate that our era is another common thing, as opposed to 'Common'. 🤔

My current and ongoing TA is that I can't find my passport. I don't need it at the moment, and it hasn't been seen for about 4 years but I know it's somewhere in the house. If I found it, I might actually plan a trip abroad!

Cant find my driving licence and the NCT says 'identification' which I brought, but it goes down as no identification on the fail cert I got 🙄

Turn your back to the dash/windscreen and reach behind you - your hand will be faced the right way and everything!

A really mundane boring dream. Not even worth telling my husband when I woke up.

(additional TA I still can't find my sunglasses. I know well as soon as I bite the bullet and buy the new pair the old ones will show up)

My mouse wheel is going backwards - most of the time.

When I scroll down with the mouse wheel the screen scrolls back up and when I scroll up the screen scrolls down. Then it will work fine for a bit and them go off scrolling the wrong way again.

Not a setting its dirt in the mouse and I'll have to take it to bits to fix it :-(

Wake me up when it's all over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,541 ✭✭✭SuperBowserWorld

I know on Mac the mouse/trackpad share the same setting for scroll direction which makes no sense as they are opposite. So you need an app to switch correctly for mouse or go into settings to change the direction. This from a 3 trillion dollar company. 😁 It's also a TA.

charity shops pricing unplayable vinyl rubbish at 8/10/15 euro. At least look at the state of the record before over pricing it.
