While this is true if COVID didn't hit Biden would have very likely lost. But that's Trump's fault for his terrible reaction to that disaster.

True. Plus the men in her campaign were Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff…

Then top it off with the garbage comment from Biden and the "strong women" line from Cuban and they really fired up the low propensity voters to come out for Trump.

I think if the Democrats want to win this election they need to replace Kamala with Taylor Swift. Probably too late for tonight but they will have to do this in 2028.

Trump has extended his lead in PA with 92% of votes in.

In Horse Racing terms, 1/100 means the leader in a 2 horse race has bolted to a 20 length lead with 2 furlongs to go, it's over.

Kamala still being 20/1 is more just bookies protecting themselves in case something crazy happens like a bolt of lightning hitting the horse in the lead or they break a leg, because they have to do that in a 2 horse race.

Trump ahead in all 7 swing states

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭DrPhilG

    Yeah this goose is cooked.

Minnesota down to 2% gap. Solid leads in all 3 blue wall states. Leading in Arizona & Nevada.

It's well on track for a massacre. And the NYT needle is now >95%.

Imagine Trump won in 2020, we'd be moving past the Trump era now.

Trump losing in 2020 is actually a good thing looking back, they've just extended the Trump era by 4 extra years to a total of 12. :)

The Senate is on course for a 55-45 Republican majority. That's a huge swing there.

Trump is 50k votes from surpassing his 2020 PA total with still 10% of the votes to come in.

    The irony.

    Harris said Trump is Hitler.

Harris said this is the last vote the Americans will have.

Getting an endorsement from dick and liz cheney definitely didn't help either

Harris never said he was Hitler... I think you'll find that it was actually his soon to be vice president JD Vance that said those words

CNN's projection is saying that the Republicans have won control of the U.S. Senate.

potentially the "greatest comeback in political history" they said on sky news

Grover Cleveland, the incumbent president, lost in 1888 but regained the presidency in 1892,

but interestingly he won the popular vote in !888, 48.7% to 47.8%

For what period of time did the Dem's and their lackeys in the media attack the mere mention of Biden's obvious cognitive decline? Bringing it up here was met with such outright hostility, even if the truth was staring everyone in the face.

Their own stupidity and denial of reality cost them. Or maybe it was them thinking everyone else is stupid and they were happy to lie. Either way there could have been a proper primary but instead they ended up with the candidate who polled 1% and was kicked off the stage after the first round in last primary she ran. Unlikeable and as it turns out unelectable.

    Bravo. 😐️

Have to say, surprised at the popular vote but that is democracy in action. Anyone saying Trump doesn't have it is unfortunately the most optimistic person ever, very close to winning several of the remaining states and he doesn't need to even take them all at this point.

Harris' supporters told go home, Harris won't address them Tonight. It's like a mirror image of what Clinton's aide did back in 2016.

Lets hope this 78 year old lives to be 82. His VP couldn't care less about Putin's plans for Europe.

Maybe some Americans are tired of being repeatedly told by sections of the media, academia and Democratic politicians that America is the root of all evil in the world, and that America is a "terrible" country to live in.

Look, for most women in the US that's just also not a major issue. The majority of the US still has normal access to abortion and obviously they just don't think that Trump can or will take that away. I'm pro choice and the state I live in already has it in the constitution. if I had a vote, which I don't, it wouldn't be my first consideration. Most people mostly care about the cost of living and don't agree with millions of people being able to enter the country unchecked, and further to that, given money and free accommodation. Even other migrants are against unchecked immigration. The vast majority of people aren't on board with identity politics being the be all and end all, don't agree with children consenting to life changing gender drugs and surgeries and don't agree with men being able to identify into women's sports. Most people dont agree with terrorist supporters taking over colleges and cities, a minority cited that foreign policy was a concern. The Democrats have made this their whole platform which just alienates people. They are out of touch with what people actually think, and so is most of the online space, including boards. Hopefully instead of doubling down on labeling people nazis, the democrats can look at the reasons why this has happened. Someone like Obama would have won easily, and I'm starting to think that even Biden would have done better going by the numbers

Trump has got the popular vote aswell....

He really represents the real USA....Not the fake hollywood celebrity Taylor Swift soundbite bullshìt that is served up by their Mainstream Media....which in turn is lapped up upon here by RTE etc....

This race was no where near close....

Yeah he'll be remembered as a useless geriatric who sabotaged this election with his ego. He should never have stood again. And now that he lost in hindsight he should have went all in helping Ukraine. He slow balled the aid because he feared too much would cost him votes.
