Agreed. I think George W Bush is the worst US President in my lifetime. I think Biden's presidency has been tarnished and history won't look back fondly on him.

    Not good. From the AP:

Florida voters reject abortion rights amendment and keep in place Gov. Ron DeSantis’ 6-week ban as the initiative fails to reach the required 60% threshold. The measure faced an uphill battle in the deeply red state where Trump, a Florida resident, said during the campaign that he would vote against it.

Clinton a sexual predator who all but abused an intern. And many others. Canvassed for Chinas entry to the WTO. Sat on his hands while a sanitised version of the USSR invaded Chechnya. Oh yes and when you wince at the USC on your pay slip and wonder how the 2008 credit bubble happened - have a peek at US banking deregulation leading to the big short. Sandy Berger then post presidency enrichment - a true scoundrel. Throw in a Vietnam draft dodge to add a bit of cream on top and his step brother Rodger

Mood music turning sour on Harris.

Still tight but it could all go south soon.

Half the vote in for VA and Trump only behind by one point.

Trump pulling ahead in Virginia as rural counties start coming in strong.

Harris out to $3.45 in betting markets.

She best get some momentum from somewhere as it might be 2016 again.

Democrats have chosen to push away muslim Americans and are reaping the consequences of that.

The fact Virginia is such a close race is really, really bad news for the Harris campaign.

Way too early for them odds on the betting markets. That stupid Puerto Rican joke could haunt trump as numbers up alot in that demographic.

If numbers are good from WI for Trump the race is done.

NYT state level. GA must be looking good for DT at this stage with 2/3 of the vote in and a 5% lead

He was President for less than 8 months when 9/11 happened. Clinton had been President for 8 years prior to that, surely the majority of the blame (if you’re going to apportion it like you have) lies at his door?

9/11 was a failure of imagination and co-operation by the US intelligence services. That it happened to occur under Bush’s watch rather than Clinton’s is more chance than anything else.

There’s lots of things to criticize Bush for - his response to 9/11 being one; but to blame him for it happening is bizarre.

Things starting to look good for Harris in North Carolina, Ohio, Georgia and even PA.

Remember 2020 how things looked early in the night vs how things finished off….

Trump was a early favourite in 2020 too. Postal votes are counted last. KH is a value bet at this point.

As a Trump supporter it's far from over. It's anyone's game yet.

It's a minefield for Harris now since anything lost is fatal but Trump still needs to win Pennsylvania which feels like a coin toss.

Carolina looking a lot closer than it should be for Harris, even in counties she's winning she's down 5% on Bidens vote

PA looking like the key state.

    "

Donald Trump is the first GOP presidential candidate to win Florida’s Miami-Dade county since George HW Bush in 1988

    "

Major shift in an urban democrats would expect to win.

Not according to NBC or are they just talking about early voting in person which has been counted?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,551 ✭✭✭Westernview

It's amazing that Harris is getting less female votes than Biden in some states.

Mail in ballots are not counted last by any means - its state dependent. A lot of states will have them if they are processed counted quite early
