Just looking for people's opinions on these two cars. Hopefully going to view them this week and was just looking for feedback from anyone who owns any of these cars and what to look out for.

Not too concerned about space it's more comfort and something nice to drive is what I am after. I do approx 500km a week - 90km round-trip to work Monday-Friday and bits at the weekend. Are both engines the same in these two cars? Any feedback appreciated thanks. Both are same price and year and very similar milage

Neither are a particular good spec but the A6 is naturally going to be more comfortable and is also an automatic. Running costs will be ever so slightly higher, slightly higher fuel consumption. Consumable parts and tyres more expensive etc.

Yes I believe these are pretty much the base spec models. I was previously looking at octavias and superbs in the 2.0 versions and found they are very similarly priced to these

If you were previously looking at Skoda’s and are happy with the spec I’d go for the A6 then since its more comfy and automatic. It is an older model which was replaced in 2018 but the new models are about €5k more expensive whereas the A4 is a newer model which was only released in 2016 but I don’t think it carries anything extra over the A6. Maybe slightly updated infotainment?

A6 all day long. Designed to compete with the 5 series so better build, comfort and refinement than the A4. Audi parts and servicing can be an eye opener, but that is the class of car you are in with the A6.

Had an 2010 reg A4 Technik model for almost 5 years and it was a beautiful car to drive - still regret selling it to this day.
