Not as bad of a month as expected, brutal towards the end though

a lot of very dull (<5kWh) days in September, this is our first year with solar so I don't know if this is a good or bad result (6.5kWp E/W in Wicklow)

Looks about right for your system size and orientation.👍️

Yup, I've a 6.5Kwp setup (exactly E/W) in south Dublin city and only got 357kwh. Your doing pretty well there with 445kWh considering your only just down the road. I do however have the clouds roll off the Dublin hills beside me…..always seem to linger about in it's only little microclimate :-(

South dublin, 10kwp panels with 5kwh inverter. Seems like it was a duller month on the east coast than other parts of the country.

391 kWh for October which is just about average I would say. 6.1 kWp South facing and just south of Cork city

Jeeze 2022 was a great year!

7.78kWp array, no battery, all electric house (2100sq ft new build bungalow). West Waterford.

A big drop off in production this month.

    Screenshot_20241101-125635~2.png

The bill for the month is €30. Had I not solar the bill would have been €115.

€300 in credit built up over the summer is now down to €270. Long live FIT!

    October yield - 296kWh from a 6.5 kW system.

Incidentally I added up my electricity bills since the start of the year and my current running total is only €80. This is despite only getting solar in March and buying an EV in July. €300 in govt credits (so far) and nearly €500 in FIT.

October for me was below average, but not the worst.

Plenty of credit on the account, with more coming. That really could have been better spent. Pity.

    Thereabouts yeah.

But October was milder than usual, except for the last week or so, and until now the sun hasn't come out, so dark times ahead 😔

Well it's official. November `24 sucked. About 2/3 the generation of a normal year.

    Screenshot_20241201-065617.png

Really messed up my buy sell mix. In full winter mode early.

    Screenshot_20241201-065350.png

Plus my 40% discount ends on the 6th.

Yeah got 86kwh for November. It's still my first year ( installation in January) so hopefully for better next year!

First full month with the panels, can't but be a little disappointed with their production. 127kWh produced on a 4.4kpw sse system. Not looking forward to December, but I'm really looking forward to March!

It looks like you've a similar size and orientation system to mine, how has your year been overall?

Well obviously based off others here the year seems to have been fairly poor. I've had some very good days in the summer. Overall fairly happy. The system has generated 3.152MWh since late January.

    136° is SSE+1°

    Screenshot_20241201-115249.png

First and last year's are partial, though in fairness my average for Dec is about 65kWh.

I do have partial shading from mid Nov to mid Feb
