So they're trying to make sure they lose by a bigger margin to prove the election was "stollen"?

We had to insist that they stopped delivering the catholic free paper LIFE because of its overtly fascist leanings. There are dark corners of the catholic universe and TRUMP and the supreme court have aligned themselves with it.

    I'll take that.

    Once they lose.

I'd even give up the house and senate

Absolute car crash for Trump last night.

They had the audience to make the swing and win over voters but he couldn't control himself and let the truth spill out.

America is only for Americans, Puerto Rico is an island of garbage. Harris has pimp handlers so effectively calling her a prostitute.

Completely deranged and only those that actively agree with Trump on racism can even think of supporting him.

Of course we will get the usual nonsense that he didn't mean what he said, or he'd never really do what he says he'll do, but that only highlights how insane this is.

Massive own goal tonight. There will be a frantic attempt over the coming days to limit the damage.

Absolutely ZERO chance one of them will discuss it in good faith. Its so weird I have yet to hear one Trump fan express any doubt they might lose (with mentioning cheating)

As I have been saying for months, people don't understand Trump and the current GOP. It is white nationalism with fascist tendencies - and that is exactly what 47% of the white nationalist American public want. None of this has been a mistake, just like none of the Nazi parties actions were a mistake on their lead up to seizing power and destroying their country.

MSG was just the agenda laid out for the willing 47% to see. The only way to stop them is to ensure that the remaining 53% of voters reject it. You cannot change the white nationalist base that have projected America to where it's currently at. You cannot reason them out of voting Trump - they want Trump and everything he represents.

To me, it's echoing what the Tories did just before the last wipe out.

They "leaned into" the racism, the elitism. Maybe it's a last role of the dice here - they know they'll lose so **** it, or like you said, to substantiate a claim of cheating later

But yet the trumpitesm on here will continue to support him and spew their usual nonsense. This has to be some sort of Brain Slug situation. No other explanation

I would disagree, there was an opportunity to catch the reps off guard and run with momentum and it failed

Starter for 10... furiously scanning MAGA propaganda dumps for weasel words to excuse how the hateful racism om display last night wasnt hateful racism.

MSG was a basket of deplorables last night.

So what exactly about that racist, hate filled, deranged, call back to another rally in 1939 at MSG show appealed to you?

Come on, the election is getting close. Team Trump seems to be giving up the poor job of hiding what they are; you can too. What exactly about Trump, his supporters and his policies (project 2025) resonates with you?

Fortunately the more people see of Trump the less inclined they are to vote for him, so MSG was something of an own goal.

You can more effectively ignore his borish character if he isn't right in front of you shouting in your face.

    You are being too kind.

Last night was unapologetically racist in both tone and substance. To many it was nothing new but it should be the final proof Trump supporters needed that Trump is racist and pursuing a racist agenda.

So rather than ask what part of the speech they liked, the only question is whether the level of racism was to their liking or would they prefer even more of it.

And since this is an Irish site, and so assuming most posters are not Americans, how does it feel to support someone that openly hates you and everyone you know?

    Will it matter?

I think Harris is going to win, but it will still be super close and that is because a significant portion of America wants the grotesque dystopia on display at MSG yesterday.

The Trump fans won't care about the overt racism and bigotry. Many secretly agree with it but are afraid to say so. It'll be put down as the usual: he didn't mean it like that, it was just a joke etc.

Thats why I have a kindof respect for those on stage at least they just go balls out and 100% commit to what they truly want and believe in, no pùssyfooting around vaugely.

Not like many of the more weasely cheerleaders who simp for everything Trump but steadfastly refuse to actually commit and instead just linkdump or hide behind memes and claim they are being silenced or hunted by the "wokes" as they flee from any actual threat of discussion.

It wasn't just racism. Although that seemed to be a major theme.

It was also misogynistic. Calling Harris a prostitute just expands on the message they have been pushing from the start about her sleeping her way to the top.

It is a recurring theme. Anytime they are faced with a woman it always descends to sexism.

Holy Shít. On the day Harris announces policies to entice Puerto Ricans in Philly, Trump hires a lad who absolutely trashes Puerto Ricans.

Conclusive proof that Trumps campaign managers have downed tools completely and are only hanging around in the vain hope they get paid, which they won't obviously.

They're ok with racism as well as sex crimes.

Disgusting folk, every last one of them.

    Simple answer.

    Trump supporters are racist.

I have noticed this across Boards on all topics. Posters have strong opinions but refuse to discuss challenges to those opinions. Completely blindfolded.

People do not have the courage of their convictions. It's actually very cowardly and shallow. I worry about the future when people are so dishonourable. What's worse, it makes them very gullible.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?
