    Oliver Callan has a go at them regularly but he balances it out by taking the piss out of the government as well on the same show which is fair enough.

    he has made fun of both harris and michael martin in past monologues but they didn't go running to the courts. Balance, humour is not like that , it has to be relevant and funny, the SF stuff was all over the news therefore it was relevant to make a joke out of it

    I think the issue is the use of the word "traitor", I think another issue is that people in RTÉ think that everyone is talking about their commissioning of the series the traitors, in the same week.

    Aine lawlor on the week in politics this morning relating to sinn fein traitor comment: "it was satire on RTE but of course if it comes from far right protestors, it's not satire"
