Google Maps also gives Current speed and road speed limit.

All of those features you mention are in Google Maps too.

Obstructions, traffic jams, roadworks, etc. Ask to confirm road works occasionally. They have been there a long time.

If everyone used Waze the roads would be a safer place

Obstructions, roadwork, traffic, etc have been on it years for me might depend on area in terms of coverage. But traffic data was first was introduced about 15 years ago.

Speed limits were 5 years ago. (here is a mention of it online in 2020).

If may be that Ireland was only added recently, I live overseas. Anytime I'm here the car I use has onboard navigation with speed limits so I don't use google here.

Does google maps let motorist report live traffic conditions in real time the same way that waze does?
This, for me, is it's true value.

It is also waaay more accurate than my dashboard nav at estimated journey duration

On Waze, is there any way of saving more than two preset destinations? I can only see the option to add work and home address presets to it.

My biggest issue is that saved locations in Maps are not available in the Waze, despite both being owned by Google. There is also no web enabled version to preplan on.

If this was the case, I'd use Waze wholeheartedly.

Outof interest, what is the obsession with showing your current speed? Shouldn't you be using your dashboard for that????

Mine did show current speed and the speed limit in that particular area but it seems to have disappeared.

I've downloaded Waze to give it a whirl.
