An additional departure will operate in each direction on the 33x from Monday 11 September:

    07:15 ex-Skerries

    17:00 ex-Custom House Quay

33x now not letting people on at Rush in the evenings because it's an express bus😠

That's fair enough, really. The stops in Rush are designated as drop-off only. Now, whether this rule is followed appears to be at the discretion of the driver and/or not strictly enforced by Dublin Bus, but you can hardly complain if it is observed.

And sometimes that bus is slow to get out of the city due to traffic, so what you don't need to further hinder getting home on time is a load of unscheduled pickups in Balheary/Rush/Lusk, especially when you remember that there are already other busses on in the 33 and 33a.

What Dublin Bus should be doing is putting on more 33a busses at peak times between 3PM and 7PM on the weekdays as they've often been too full to stop by the time they come past the Donabate roundabout in the Skerries direction.
