Hi one of my glow plugs has failed on my Skoda Octavia 1.6 diesel cylinder 1.

Is it ok to drive until next service is due and get it changed then next April 2025 or should I get it fixed now. Will it damage the car?

Performance of the car is fine and driving well.

might be driving well now since it’s not cold,

When the temps drop you will start to see issues.

I would change it now. It’s not a big or expensive job to do.

Not changing them can also cause the DPF to block. As above get them changed now as it's not a big job.
