I think he has it. Scored goals at a decent clip for Bologna so has that in him. Might not be an impact player though.

Sub Garnacho for Amad. He loses the ball so much at this stage of the game especially it's not good.

On the contrary Amad is great at holding the ball.

Happy with that considering what we’ve seen in the league games leading up to today. Two great team goals, good to see Højlund score and for Rashford & Bruno to have involvements. In control for the majority of the game and their goal was a free header against the run of play with a mess up on the de Ligt injury.

de Ligt played very well again and can see him being an important player when the team finally settles. He has come in for criticism but I don’t see it and for all the talk about his pace, even if he isn’t faster than his man his positioning is usually good enough to stop the danger.

Mourinho up next with Bruno suspended.

Nearly every other team I see now does the team press from the passing lanes in the opposition defence. Cuts off half the pitch. United players just run straight at the player with the ball on their own and when they pass the next United player starts their press while the others back off the player again.

I don't get why they do it like that. Allows the balls into midfield where they are very weak defensively.

Everyone was dropping deep zirk should never have went but it's possible he made a mistake but then ugarte seeing it all in front of the comes steaming forward and gets turned so bad he can't even make a foul, there really is no legislating for that, he should never do what he did potentially another rush of blood to the head player, I apologize for being a broken record but we make so so so many stupid decisions as a team

Hopefully I won't jinx him but he has been very solid this year. And statistically the no1 shot stopper so far this season before this round of games

Makes a change to net the 3 points……we have a relatively easy run of games coming up and should be aiming for maximising the points haul from them……

However we are asking for trouble depending on Casemiro and Eriksen to track back when out of possession and opponents breaking quickly…….they were yards behind their direct opponents any time we lost the ball.

Licha looked relatively comfortable at LB so might be worth leaving there till Shaw returns after Christmas …….😞
