There are plenty of people who swear that it's a barometer for this election - and your referencing it suggests strongly that your one of them.

"All they have left is lies, hate, and division"

They never had anything else if you are being honest and that is the demographic they have always been targeting, along with those not firing on all cylinders between the ears for a few reasons.

Let's hope Harris takes it on the 6th November.

A trump presidency would not be good for America.

The beautiful thing about the @BretBaier interview is that @KamalaHarris understood and responded to each question.

She used examples of policies. She gave real world context.

When Brett went hard after her. She didn’t call him names. She didn’t quit the interview. She didn’t make things up. She never once complained the questions were tough. She never played the victim card. She didn’t lose her temper. She didn’t take the bait to diminish or talk down to Trump supporters.

She stood up to him with force and never backed down.

He has been the President and campaigning for 9 years. Kamala Harris has caught up to him in just 100 days . That speaks volumes.

It’s why people want to vote for her. That’s why so many Republicans and Independents are supporting her

She is everything her opponent is not and will never be.

    Strong, Smart and Measured

Mark Cuban coming in hot with this one. hard to disagree with a lot of it and it is pretty spot on. Especially around the temper part, Trump probably would have just walked off if he was pressed as hard as Harris was, that is how weak he is.

Never mind America, it would be awful for the planet.

I'm absolutely laughing that @MisterAnarchy didn't even attempt to paraphrase that account... They have such genius analyses as the below on why Alex Jones was right all along. Might explain the recent use of the term "deep state" though.

As a matter of interest in early voting, do they have watchers who estimate based on appearance or some other metric, likely voting habits to estimate what way early voting is going?

erm, I don’t think it’s that crude but people do perform exit polling in some cases. I remember I might have done one exit poll at one point in time, probably 2012 Republican primary to be honest, I was handed an iPad and filled out responses. I don’t think anyone just sits there and counts people by profiling them. Respondents would answer eg. “Hispanic, 30-35 years old, voted for Ron Paul, etc”

It turns out that when Trump did his little dance routine and refused to answer questions - the audience were preselected MAGA supporters and the questions were prefiltered and selected by Trumps team. So he couldn't even deliver answers to questions he knew in advance which were designed to give him easy wins.

    Just think about that.

Same being reported about his Fox womens town hall: all the audience were decided Trump voters.

Only seen the video today and it reminds me of a relation, long since passed. He liked a drink but sometimes, particularly around family, he would go all in, he never really got messy though, this was how he went when he had far too much. Almost trying to pretend he was OK, in the hope no one would notice he wasn't.

Not saying that is what is happening here, just what it reminded me off. Every now and again, he would gather enough thought to have a one or two sentence conversation, then go back to what he was at, trying to hide for egos sake his decline.

The more I see Trump the more i am convinced he has had a stroke.

UAW has responded to Trump's quip that 'a child' could build cars in the US, by inviting him to a 12 hour shift at an autoworkers plant.

Let's see if he can handle something a little less juvenile than a photo op in front of the fries basket at McDonalds for 20 minutes.

He hasn't got time to do his health declaration, he certainly won't have time to do 12 hours in a factory, what with all the campaigning and all.

This interview was the straw that broke the Kamalas back( stolen from journal.ie). Her strategy to ignore every question and deflect with rants about Trump was a poor strategy. When an influential Democratic newspaper is calling a spade a spade, you know it Was a bad night

Hardly a surprising opinion given Beckett's other work promoting pro trump anti democrat conspiracy theories

But hey it go you to click on The Hill and that's what matters. Link is broken as hell though

Ah yes, the opinions of a guy that wrote for "The Blaze" and the Washington Examiner are a valid balanced opinion..

Not really avoiding it, she is standing by her view that Biden is still competent, not everyone agrees, but her words were this:

“Joe Biden — I have watched from the Oval Office to the Situation Room, and he has the judgment and the experience to do exactly what he has done in making very important decisions on behalf of the American people,”

Baier kept on at which point she made the fair point that he wasn't on the ballot, she was.

It is an odd thing, he currently appears more compos mentis than Trump and he was undoubtedly nudged by the polling but I am not convinced the interview was the disaster some think it was for her considering even Fox commented on her doing what she needed to do in it. You can't blame her for politicking around the follow ups to move the conversation to her presidential election. It would have been weirder if she sat there and engaged in it like a deer in headlights, that would have damaged her immensely.

Trump has continued canceling more interviews, NBC and an NRA event. Definitely not the Trump of old, his body and mind are struggling to keep up with the relentless pace of the campaign.

Sure, you can just watch it here. Harris is a bit flaky at the end, but she skewers the current US situation. 15 mins in is fun.

Israel killed Sinwar in Gaza today. Might bring that conflict closer to an end although I can't speculate on what it might mean for the presidential race.

Trump cancelling more events and interviews. We have gone from Trump just needs to focus on policies to Trump just needs to stay out of the media.

And yet nobody is asking why? A person that spent so much time on the golf course during his term is now showing that he hasn't got the stamina to last.

If Harris struggling on some questions on a biased media platform, remembering that Fox had to pay hundreds of millions in defamation for pushing the stolen election and Dominion being complicit, is seen as a car crash then surely running away scared is far worse.

Count Dooku is defeated yes but Darth Sidious is still the Prime Minister of Israel. I think the war will continue.

My money is on him just throwing a huff because he's not allowed golf til after the election.

I’m not going to attempt to diagnose him like some were doing with Biden, claiming they could see he had dementia or Alzheimer’s based on a few videos - but he’s the nominee for a job that will give him an incredible amount of power and is going to be scrutinised , so the fact that in every public appearance he makes he gets confused, distracted, makes several mistakes, struggles with certain words, or just nopes out of a pre screened interview in order to listen to music for 40 minutes and is 78 years old makes me think he’s not playing with a full deck.

Of course, he could allay everyone’s fears by releasing his medical records as Harris has done.
