KEF LSX II and Kube 8 MIE

Guys,

Long time no spend. I’m thinking of getting the Kube 8 MIE and LSX II olive green. What’s the best price you can do with delivery to Cork?

How much hassle is it to hook up the sub to PM7000n? Would I need an additional cable for that?

We are actually sold out of the LSX II in Olive Green t the minute and I have no ETA just yet for new stock landing. I do have them available in Lava Red, Mineral White and Soundwave which are like a bronze colour. I will need to check in with the supplier to see if we can get an Olive Green finish unless you were interested in any of the above colours?

The Kef Kube 8 MIE I do have in stock ready to ship - I can offer this for £550/649 euro and you can connect to the PM7000N no problem via the amps subwoofer pre out to the LFE input on the sub. One thing to note though is the LSX are wireless speakers with their own amp so they won't work with the PM7000N.

I can wait for the LSXs and yeah, I know that they are active and have no intention to hook them up to PM7000n.

Let me know once you get the LSXs back in stock.

As for the Kube 8 MIE I presume it comes with the cable for connecting it with PM7000n? And if what is the length? I think I need 5m.

Also, what price could you do it's bigger brother Kube 10 MIE?

No cable comes with the subs but you can get a 5m Nedis subwoofer cable for £19.95/24 euro:

Thanks for confirming that. I was not sure as the .com version of the website seems to mention that these indeed come with a 6 year super care as standard but .ie does not reflect the same. You may want to get the website updated.

I must say it is only after pairing the Kube 10 with LS50 Meta that I realised what the setup was lacking. I may get the smaller Kube 8 for the other room as well. This one would work with the Model M1. Any special deals on the Kube 8 on the horizon?

As for the M1 I’m very happy with it too. It shows how the digital amplification technology has improved these last few years. I remember trying out the Yamaha WXA-50 back in the day before I swapped it for PM7000n and that thing was struggling with the KEF R100s big time. M1 is a different animal altogether.

Thanks for getting back to me Walus. That's great feedback on the M1 - stock on them has been so tight lately that we haven't had one in store for a listen so it's good to know they've got the seal of approval!

I can offer you a Kube 8 MIE at £500/609 euro? I don't know if there are any planned price drops on them but we do have a Black Friday price promise so if it dropped further than my pricing above by the 4th December we can refund the difference for you.
