I don't think it got any real traction as only an obscure India based site picked it up. Still nothing on fox or Newsmax et al from what I can see and if they aren't touching it after 3 days it must have nothing behind it.

I saw some reports that there was apparently medical attention required to one or two people in the crowd, so the pause in questions and just listening to music was for that.

However, Trump then just kept it going. For over half an hour. And then left.

So either Trump used it as an excuse to not answer any more questions, or if the medical attention required was serious, Trump stood on stage for over half an hour swaying to music in front of it like a psychopath.

Pity that Convicted Felon Trump is using Sinead O'Connor's music. She loathed him and her estate's asked his Conpaign to stop.

But the indigenous population weren't united they were all different tribes with different languages etc, so who's to say one group wouldn't have tried to get rid of all their rivals if they were capable of it.

There's this myth being pushed (which she played into in her speech) that somehow the America's were a land of peace and love and then the white man arrived and ruined it all, which of course isn't true at all, but it plays up to the White Man Bad everyone else Good politics the democrats have been pushing over the past decade.

You can accept the european colonists treated the indigenous tribes disgracefully and yet point out that if someone else beat them to colonising america things wouldn't have been any different.

So, we have "who's to say?" against "definitely did slaughter the indigenous population" are you're trying to draw an equivalence between the two?

I think that tells us all we need to know about the honesty of your posting.

Well no, because you're arguing possibilities against the facts of what actually happened.

Columbus Day should be no more. We should really stop celebrating people who we discover are actually the villains of the piece instead of holding them up high.

In the global scheme of things, we should be trying to grow and learn from our errors, not celebrate them.

Whose to say? Well one tribe never did wipe out all the others.

The white people did wipe out the tribes.

So we can definitively say it.

You seem to be implying that the only thing stopping the slaughter was lack of weapons. But the indigenous people had what they wanted. Food, land, water.

The white man arrived and wanted it all. Not to share. There are multiple cases of the white man making deals with the indigenous only to double cross them and steal their land.

You are playing up the racist commentary that it was just the white man was more intelligent and thus somehow they were simply doing a survival of the fittest. When in reality if we accept they were more intelligent, rather than just more advanced, them that very intelligence should have let them know that killing and slaughter are wrong.

This guy could literally soil himself on stage and all you'll get is crickets.

You won't be getting an answer. The next thing on the block for them is any perceived slip up from Kamala on the Fox interview later.

    Really bad faith and predictable.

You're trying to whitewash genocide. Columbus's diaries include excerpts such as the below.

They … brought us parrots and balls of cotton and spears and many other things, which they exchanged for the glass beads and hawks’ bells. They willingly traded everything they owned… . They were well-built, with good bodies and handsome features…. They do not bear arms, and do not know them, for I showed them a sword, they took it by the edge and cut themselves out of ignorance. They have no iron. Their spears are made of cane… . They would make fine servants…. With fifty men we could subjugate them all and make them do whatever we want.

While I was in the boat, I captured a very beautiful Carib woman, whom the said Lord Admiral gave to me. When I had taken her to my cabin she was naked—as was their custom. I was filled with a desire to take my pleasure with her and attempted to satisfy my desire. She was unwilling, and so treated me with her nails that I wished I had never begun. But—to cut a long story short—I then took a piece of rope and whipped her soundly, and she let forth such incredible screams that you would not have believed your ears. Eventually we came to such terms, I assure you, that you would have thought that she had been brought up in a school for whores.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll jump on any excuse to claim she's a poor speaker, not fit for office, suffering mental fatigue from the campaign, and just a low IQ individual if she so much as mispronounces a word. A word like, oh off the top of my head…. Arizonians…

Trump Campaign time of death: some time between Nothing Compares 2 U by Sinead O’Conner or Memories from the Cats musical.

“Let’s not do any more questions. Let’s just listen to music, let’s make it into a musical. Who the hell wants to hear questions, right?”

He answers 4 softball questions from Noem (the dog-killer governor) and then has a malfunction for over half an hour on stage.

And this man wants back in the situation room: “Sir, the Iranians have attacked” - you can’t have the generals waiting for over half an hour while you become disassociated and sway to Duran Duran.

Were this Biden with this many gaffes on stage at one time along with a complete breakdown of norms for over half an hour like this we would have heard already 15 different ways how he had no idea where he was. But no the MAGA movement is playing it off like some genius impromptu concert (of music he hasn’t apparently licensed). He’s had multiple people at a time at his rallies need medical attention before so the freeze up is incredibly bizarre and not easily explained by a simple matter of those medical emergencies in the crowd. Has he just completely thrown in the towel? Has the pressure of the final weeks of the campaign just finally cracked him?

Just when I thought we were all out of October surprises; October, you sonofabitch.

I find it facinating that some MAGA supporters might wonder why rest of the world would regard their group as being lousy with racism, and then we get a Trump supporter on here essentially echoing something along the lines of "White Man tamed the Savage World!"

Also, if you actually read the early history of European attempts to colonise North America, it was a cavalcade of constant dismal failure. Colonies would be wiped out by new illnesses, lack of resources making them dependant on imports from Europe, and in one case a failed colony in Panama bankrupted Scotland. (It's part of the reason an independant Scotland went into union with England in 1707). They had to keep throwing bodies at the continent until eventially some towns managed to stick around long enough to maintain a footing. But the hubrus and inexperience of the European powers had killed a lot of their own people in the process.

The 1800s are pretty much what killed off a lot of Native Americans. Prior to this, the Old West was mostly their domain since they knew how to successfully live there. The dawn of the Industrial Revolution and railways was part of what doomed them. The new US had inherited a load of space that they wanted to use, and they had the metal to take it by force.

Claiming that the White Man was somehow superior to the Native Americans is a classic case of the winners writing history, and these days a blatant sign of a racist point of view. Although in some cases we arn't that suprised anymore when we see which part of the "political" spectrum this comes from.

But if she doesn't slip up or misspeak, well then she's been trained or coached or is using an ear piece, or a teleprompter or the Deep State controlled media outlets edited things to make her look good.

And even then, they'll just complain about how she "sounds fake" or something.

Or they could just cycle back around to racist and sexist accusations of being a DEI hire who slept her way to the top.

Almost 40 minutes - They stopped because someone collapsed due to the heat in the room and they played some music , Trump then said , "let's just listen to Music , who wants to answer questions!" so he stood there for 39 minutes swaying weirdly to music as he does and every now again again he'd say "good song"..

Trump called for Ave Maria to be played at first during both interruptions, but the former president spoke only briefly after the second person received treatment.

Trump then said, “Let's not do any more questions. Let's just listen to music. Let's make it into a music fest. Who the hell wants to hear questions right? Isn't that beautiful?”

Trump then stood on stage swaying and bobbing to the music, while the crowd appeared unsure if the event was over, the Associated Press reported.

After the Village People’s “YMCA” was played—usually a song played at the end of Trump’s rallies—the former president remained on stage and asked, “Nobody’s leaving, what's going on?”

A few more songs were played as the “music fest” segment of the town hall lasted more than 30 minutes, as the crowd slowly streamed out of the venue, and ended only when Trump finally left the stage.

    Hadn't a notion what was going on…

    As Kamala Harris said

All the "centrists" out there , close your eyes and pretend that was Biden doing that and tell us your reaction?????

It’s too much campaigning for his mind and body to handle, too much pressure.
If he wins there is a good chance Vance will replace him during his term or maybe he will just spend his presidency in Mar a largo….

An insane incident, but he doesn’t sound and move as bad/old as Biden and that’s why this insane incident will probably have little impact.

ABC and NBC are the bell weathers, the theory is that they had been over sampling Demorcats in their polls and now is about the time they need to start reflecting reality to keep their credibility , her numbers dropped 5ish points a no news week

And the source for this is…?

And the reason you're not providing it is…?

I suspect it's cause either there's no source, or the source doesn't support what you claim.

Also, very strange to claim people need to "reflect reality" when I've lost track of how many harsh realities about Trump you have simply just ignored.

Like for instance his bizarre behavior and violent rhetoric at his latest rally. No comment at all I assume?

Some tribes were united, for example the The Six Nations Iroquois Confederacy. This provided many ideas and policies which influenced parts of the US Constitution and democracy framework.

Care to share your source? Given your inventive interpretations of how he'll bring peace to Ukraine, it's a bit suspect.

Vance might be socially 'retarded', but I'm sure he is very smart in other ways. He can see what is going on with trump, and not long after if he elected I'm sure they will have him sectioned. It's not like they will be short of evidence. trump is just an empty vessel at this stage.

A Thiel/Vance/Musk administration. As long as the cash keeps rolling in I think Trump would step aside and let his overlords run the show.

Again - No such "collapse" has occured.

    This is NBC Polling

    image.png

So Harris has remained largely flat - No drop of 5 points or anything like it. Trump however seems to have picked up some of the undecideds here to narrow the gap.

ABC now own 538 and again their polling shows no sudden collapse in the numbers for Harris.

They have her at +2.4% overall and the specific ABC/Ipsos poll has her at +3% with Likely voters compared to +5 about 6 weeks ago so again no "Collapse"

Like I said , all very tight, all within MOE but no one is showing a "Collapse" of any kind , anywhere.

It's part of the current narrative that MAGA likely want to push. It's the probable prelude to the new #StoptheSteal.

Lately there has been an increase in GOP funded / leaning polls releasing their data. This data almost always gives Trump an edge, even in cases where he doesn't actually have one. But the result of that is that aggrigator sites will count them in the overall result, and that result is tightening becuase of it.

At this stage, the only poll that matters at all is the one in November, but by creating a narritive that Harris' support "collapsed" there is likely a hope by those involved to present a "valid" grievence should Trump lose again. "He didn't lose look at the polling in October!!" Rinse and repeat.

This is why they bother lying…to support the Bigger Lie coming down the road.

OK, that explains why I was only able to come across several choices of the 2021 video to watch, none of a 2024 Harris Columbus Day speech.
