Just to begin with, and to get it out if the way, Graham Hancock is off his rocker with his 'theory'. Total garbage... yet Netflix have not only given his idea a platform to reach millions but have now given it a second season.

I just can not for the life of me fathom out why we have large corporations spreading such blatant misinformation.

Then I remember the excellent content provided by the likes of Paul Cooper's The Fall of Civilizations. Available for free as a podcast and youtube series, and what would have been an absolutely tremendous show with this, was not picked up for a series. Geology of the Battlefield - How Rocks changed History by Peter Hadfield.

Sometimes, I think we live in the worst possible timeline.

I wasn't sure which category to place this on, sorry if it is in the wrong one.

Clever word play may win debates, but it doesn't make it true.

Understanding and explaining things, is not the same as justifying them, if in doubt… please re-read this statement.
