    The people we would let down the most are the many elderly and sick left behind says Declan.

    That's why military expert Declan hasn't been on Liveline. And why military experts Whackerette Mammy and Joe have ĺed the "discussion".

    Liveline isn’t far away from the uninformed utter bollox you’d usually hear in a pub and Joe being the knowledgable lad holding up the bar always ready for a bit of an argument. There’s little to no place for informed opinion that is actually current. It’s really a Chris Barry/Nial Boylan type show at this stage masquerading as a prime time current affairs show. It should be scrapped and rebuilt from scratch as an actual current affairs show relevant to what people want and with an emphasis on factual items and actually useful feedback to callers.

    And Duffy had the gall yesterday to say sarcastically that the NTA are now experts on battery fires.

    When Duffy acts like an expert on everything, everyday (well 75 minutes a day, 5 days a week, 35 weeks a year).

    Caller says the soldiers are confined to their bunker for most of the day. That they lost their access to wi-fi last week.

    Joe says "It sounds like they're bored."

    There's plenty of grounded children that could relate to these soldiers.
