why does he continue to fail to mention that they receive the state pension at that age. Not that I agree with the cutting it in any way. They should in fact be paid a lot more, but they are not suddenly losing half the money they had been receiving, they are actually receiving more

I feel very strange. I am agreeing with Joe's intentions, on not one but two issues.

this lad can refuse the state pension worth €250 a week and keep his €50 a week from the army if it keeps him happy. Jesus Christ. Would need sock puppets to explain things
