How many kids have died in Syria next door under Russian barrel bombs and chemical weapons over 10 years?

Is dying better than being kidnapped and human trafficked by Russian mafia??

    So many questions

Ukraine don't care about Russian propaganda announcements, people in the middle east, don't care either.

They are mostly behind Russia and have no time for Ukraine.

It's a long and intimate relationship.

It all helps, same as Hamas picked Oct 7th, Putin's birthday. It was a tremendous gift for their old friend, and a bad day for Israel/Ukraine in different ways.

So russian assets being used up or destroyed in Gaza, Lebanon or Syria means they can't be used in Ukraine.

The world is a big place Danzy. The majority of its population is not in "The West".

Do I need to post again the Ukrainian complaints about zionist support of Russia after the start of that conflict?

is that why the majority of the worlds population are risking their lives to get into “the west” as refugees and economic migrants in their millions

But none are even considering entering Russia, Iran, Yemen, China

Why would ME citizens be concerned about Ukraine when they have a deadly and ever present threat in their midst.

According to the statistics, about 2,000. So one eighth as many, over a ten times longer period and a ten times larger population. Now the Syrian forces killed more and their regime had the tacit support of Russia, but even then that's over a ten year period and Israel is on track to smash that record in a couple more months at its current trajectory.

But it's straying miles away from the point where people were trying to equate Ukraine and Israel. As was said, it's not a competition. When your argument amounts to "yeah well the numbers are only in the same ballpark as some of the worst atrocities this century", that's not a great defence of what Israel is doing.

Nobody was sitting there trying to pretend it was a good thing that all those people were dying in Syria the way you have people cheerleading the massacres Israel is carrying out.

Ain’t the reverse also true then

Why would us here in Europe care about yet another war in Middle East when we have Russia who not only started the largest war in Europe since ww2 but are threatening everyone else in Europe on a daily basis when not busy attacking nuclear plants that can render half of Europe uninhabitable for several dozen thousand years

Your figures are wildly wrong (by an order of magnitude), all you have to do is goto wikipedia on Syrian Civil War and follow references (instead of linking to a site that offers no references)

Yes, on reflection I should have said it's unlikely, as nothing is guaranteed, but I don't see it happening currently unless China abandons Russia. The only other way I see Putin's regime falling is if his enablers around him calculate the ship is sinking and decide they'd rather not go down with him. So far that hasn't happened.

Of course the majority are risking their lives 🤔. Billions as we speak………... You see, the mask usually falls eventually to show the anti-immigrant rhetoric. I think that many use their "support" of the genocidal zionists merely as a mask to support the killing of muslims and brown people.

At some point you might even figure out that one of the reasons why so many flee countries to the West is because of precisely what the zionists are doing. So while you might secretly whoop and delight at another 10k brown babies being killed because you think that is 10k less in an imaginary paranoia of a future invasion, the reality is that those actions simply create the conditions that push many orders of magnitude more towards the West,

You should really be able to understand it with an alternative example. Can you understand why the Russians bombing and killing Ukrainians civilians didn't mean that less Ukrainians would come to Ireland because there were now less of them? Compared to if Russia had never attacked them?

I never once posted any support for “zionists” and several times criticised them, what they done in last year is not only stupid but cruel and counterproductive to their long term aims

However unlike yourself I don’t see the world in black and white, just because Israelis over reacted that doesn’t make the Islamic Terrorist groups (who kicked this **** show off a year ago) the “good guys” nor does it make the evil f**ks in Kremlin and Tehran who are deliberately pouring oil into the dumpster fire the “good guys” either

There are way too many people (especially on far left and conspiracy theory brain rotted right) who’s simpleton world of view can not comprehend complex issues where there’s more than two sides

    Edit; typos

You imagine that Russia and China are strong allies. This is far from the truth since China is both eyeing and occupying Russian territory on its shared boarder. China has told Russia to stop acting the dick and threatening nuclear strikes because it's bad for business. Trade between Russia and China has all but ground to a halt since Russia has no Chinese currency reserves and China doesn't consider the Ruble tradable anymore.

China is inching away from Russia at an increasing pace as there is no strategic advantage for china to prop up a country which is disrupting it's trade and drawing down sanctions on it.

China won't abandon Russia anytime soon though, as they are in an economic bloc together and more importantly China sees Russia as a buttress against America geo political ambitions/ hegemony in the world . If it comes to the crunch China will abandon its high wire act of giving Russia diplomatic cover and funding its illegal war indirectly, but we are not close to that point yet.

I'm not defending all or even most of Israel's actions, but to say that "all Israel do is genocide", is a sick, stupid lie.

The same camp. Yet Israel has barely lifted a finger to help Ukraine in comparison to what the EU and Americans have done

We are much closer to that point than your implying. The BRICs is an aspirational body at the moment - and Russia is undermining any attempts to set up an alternative reserve currency since it's currency is valueless.

If Russia collapses China will grab large chunks of territory and those territories will largely welcome them since Russia treats them as cannon fodder for its perpetual wars of conquest.

Hamas are storing munitions and firing them from civilian centers. It stops being a war crime when there are weapons there. We even seen Hamas launching rockets from the tops of civilian buildings live on TV, the hospital that was claimed to be an Israeli strike was shown to have been launched by militants in Gaza but it was widely reported as an Israeli strike. The media need to realise they can’t trust a word out of Hamas. What exactly is supposed to happen there? Just left them launch munitions and store them safely because they use their own people as fodder and their deaths as propaganda.

Plenty of evidence for it…..Israel are ignoring every single convention in terms of war….all they want is to clear the whole area with whatever way is possible…..

Well those organisations would, by history, not block food, medicine and water going in to children. They wouldn't force doctors to amputate childrens' limbs without anesthetic either. Now guess who did that? But you know already. The genocidal Israelis.

I don't think we are,but we'll just have to agree to disagree. Russia can't sustain its war indefinitely, so within the next couple of years(assuming Ukraine don't win outright) Putin will eventually be forced to the table. If he is faced with the possible break up of Russian territory or negotiating some kind of a settlement he will choose the latter. He will try spin it to the masses in Russia as a victory, but everyone else will not be fooled. The war in Ukraine could have ended a lot sooner if the Americans went all in. It could also end now if China did abandon Russia. I hope you are right, but as I said I don't think we are close to that point yet. Anyway we are widely off topic, so I will leave it at this.

The use of white phosphore in residential areas is a war crime, despite what the Zionist apologists would claim.

Just one of many war crimes conducted by those grass mowers.

Putin is supping at the last chance saloon. He will not be in power a year from now because he is very bad for business. He has managed to maintain the imagine of a hard man to the Russian population, but the ukrainian invasion shattered that and the tame media cannot ignore it and is telling the public that they are on the losing side. Drone strikes on Moscow rams the message home. Without the venear of success Putin is a dead man walking and it will be one of his own that does it.

Or the next guy is the same, or even worse the country collapses and all their weapons land on the black market. Not great options.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,078 ✭✭✭TokTik

Laughable. Ukraine is getting battered, even with EU weapons. Zelensky will be begging for a negotiation before next summer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,928 ✭✭✭thatsdaft

Russia collapsed before 30 years ago, the world is a better place since, just ask half of Europe east of the old west Germany border

Meanwhile instead of worrying about theoretical hypothetical worry about currently Russia teaching the fecks in Iran how to build nuclear weapons and rockets and arming and sending mercenaries to grab resources in Middle East and Africa, because spending a decade dropping barrel bombs and chemical weapons in Syria next door wasn’t good enough for them

When they deliberately target the Press who are there to report truth then they have completely lost any respect or regard a decent person could have for their cause.

To funny. Ukraine is getting battered but that doesnt means Putin can win. The momentum has shifted.
