I think the real story there is how boring he is that he resorts to desperate straw clutching to garner attention.

At the same time he was upset that his rally was pitifully small, because apparently that diss she made at the debate about his rallies being disinteresting and weird is still really rattling around his head. This is what he does with the precious 37 days before the election, not messaging what he might do to benefit Americans with a 2nd term (as if anything) but showing us all he’s a tired old act devoid of anything new to offer us. How’s those concepts of a plan going Donald?

Using intellectually disabled jabs at a person is definitely classic Trump but it's not likely to persuade the remaining undecided voters. If anything it's highlighting how he himself operates at the level of a 12 year old in terms of insults…. Weird and nasty sums it up pretty well.

Not persuaded, no, but perhaps not exactly dissuaded, either, since the mad thing Trump has said today or any other day is essentially white noise, such is its regularity.

Arguably, it's more of a story or more noteworthy when he doesn't say something of this nature on any given day while campaigning.

    Speaking of the “mentally impaired,”

JD Vance planned a speaking event at a restaurant without clearing it with the restaurant - he was denied entry by workers telling him cameras weren’t allowed and they didn’t want a campaign event at a restaurant in North Versailles, Pennsylvania.

I’m sure the cult will be very respectful of their wishes and not review bomb the establishment. After all it was JD Vance and his team and their own incompetence for not selecting a location that agreed to host their shenanigans.

This after the most awkward of donut runs in presidential history and a grocery store visit where his advance team gave him the wrong price of eggs and he didn’t read the price of eggs right behind him, and last month he was accused of a “crime against humanity” tone deaf joke at Pat’s King of Steaks in Philly when he harangued the staff for not serving the famous cheesesteaks with Swiss.

Pretty big coming from a draft dodger, multiple bankruptcy business man, convicted felon and sex offender, saying that about an AG who wasn’t gifted the silver spoon. He is a pathetic loser of a person.

Worth noting we had a few posters here the other day moaning about a few of us calling Trump names etc

Are you holding Trump to the same standard? Of course you aren’t.

So no policies then. No solutions. No plan from Trump.

Just another speech with the sane old nonsense.

Remember all that talk about how Trump just needs to focus on policies? He is incapable of that as he doesn't have any policies beyond attacking others.

I thought Harris would continue to extend her slight lead after the debate but it's as tight as ever.

There are a number of articles, from Bloomberg to Axios, covering trump's speech, and absolutely sane washing the **** out of them.

That is a deliberate act, which serves two purposes.

    1. it drives interactions, which generates revenue.
    2. It sanitises trump, which makes for a tighter race. A tighter race is better for views/articles.

Re the pills, I strongly suspect that the news outlets are focusing on those that portray a closer race for the above reasons too.

I suspect that this won't be as tight as people say it will be.

I share your views, however I’d like to add that I don’t mind it being continiously marketed as «close». «Close» means that the Dems will not sit on their hands. «Close» means that Dem voters will feel the same and maybe even try to get their friends & family out to vote too.

Hillary was polled to win, and lost it due to the complacency that a train wreck like Donnie had no chance. Now everyone knows better, and a «close» race may help Harris win.

The highlight was: “Biden became mentally impaired. Kamala was born that way”.

If she is mentally impaired, then why is trump so afraid to debate her?

Town Hall meeting in Michigan. Try to follow his weave!

Q: What action will you take to ensure that we will continue to build the best cars in the world here in Michigan?
“So pretty much as we’ve been saying, and what I wanna do is I wanna be able to, look, your business, years ago in this area I was honoured as the Man of the Year, was maybe twenty years ago, oh, and the fake news heard about it they said, it never happened, it never happened, and I didn’t know who it was, it was a group that honoured me as man of the year. The fakers back there, see the fake news, but they said—they said—oh, and they looked and it you know they said it never happened, but I said I swear to you it happened, it did happen, I was man of the year. And I came and I made a speech and it said “Why do you allow them to take your car business away? Why do you allow it to happen, they’re taking your business away?” And I didn’t know too much about, all I know is they were taking your car industry away from you. They said it never happened, and leh, lo and behold, somebody said I remember the event and then we found out and we had everything. We got the awards, we had everything. It did happen. But I gave a speech which at the time was pretty controversial.”—DJT 9/28/24

Maybe you are right all along.😄. Here is trump’s detailed plan to save the American car industry.🤔

Could it be a somewhat sly racist slur by Donnie? He had a knack of calling African-American women «Low-IQ» whenever he’d start slagging them. I often read that as a typically racist slur that African-Americans are somehow not as intelligent as Real Americans™.

Could this just be an extension of «Low IQ»? She was born mentally impared because she’s not white? I would not put that past Donnie.

fully agree , the whole "third act" should be awesome to watch play out , there will be such a momentum behind Trump that even the deep state will need to concede a lot of ground and admit they played it all wrong anyway, the US is in a terrible situation because of them, compared to last time Trump should have a better range of people to chose from and better advisors. Here is to the "October surprise" being the actual Trump support ;-) and the scramble of the pollsters to course correct and not been seen to be the bunch of clowns they have been. A close election could open the door to all kinds of shinannigans.

Losing it, Losing it, Losing it…Gosh darn, he’s lost it.

He can’t take it anymore, because of a fly. On the stage. Somebody get grandpa his slippers and put him to bed.

Serious vibes from the closing sequence of the Hitchcock film "Psycho."

In his first term Trump, by his own admission, hired terrible people.

So was he simply too weak then?

More of this “Deep state” stuff.

Can someone explain who they are please? I’d also like to know if they are so effective, why am I still reading about Trump?

Is your "October Surprise" another October Revolution run on the Heritage Foundation's scheming or Trumps hijacked version of it?

Anarchy: 1. The organization of society on the basis of voluntary cooperation, without political institutions or hierarchical government; Anarchism. 2. a state of disorder due to absence or non-recognition of authority or other controlling systems:

Will the anarchists be the ones replacing the Deep State civil service who do all the arranging and provision of all the services the public currently depend on?

I was watching something and the question posed was, why is the race so tight? The, perhaps cynical response was, because its in the interests of the media for it to be really tight.

I'm increasingly getting a feeling that Harris is gonna win at this stage. Trump really hasn't done anything that will do him any favours since the Harris nomination. On top of that, Harris is a safe pair of hands. I'd also say there's the potential to have more traditional Republicans that wouldn't openly say they're intending to vote for Harris.

Plus I think polls remaining where they are is more likely to motivate voters to actually go out and vote. So I'm thinking there's gonna be a turnout that could surpass 2020.

Obviously could be horribly wrong but hopefully not.

This, I'm just absolutely fed up of the guy now

I wish news outlets would just start ignoring the same as a child throwing a tantrum

Then we could get on with our lives and not have to listen to the drivel from him and his supporters

meh , there are always wheels within wheels , to think everything is just fine or that the media represents reality or there is just some organic democracy at work is very naive

It's a cover word for whatever conspiracy theory the listener wishes to apply.

To some it's obviously the illuminati or free masons. To others, it's "the Jews." To Alex Jones types, it's all of the above.

Some will try and pretend that the term means something more reasonable, but they will not actually elaborate beyond the vagueness like we see above.

Things like "wheels within wheels" is meaningless nonsense because being any clearer exposes that the person doesn't actually know what it means, or believes something obviously untrue and ridiculous.
