new mixer kitchen tap - cold just a dribble?

    Hi All,
    I grabbed a new mixer tap from B&Q and fit it into the kitchen but the cold water is just a dribble, hot water is grand. All other taps are fine in the house.
    Any ideas ?

    all connectors are fine… reading something about low or high pressure taps on google?

    The mains supply would usually be at high enough pressure (hot is where the issues usually are on a high pressure tap).

    Could be some debris in the pipe/tap. Don't think you'd get an airlock on mains (if you can confirm it's a mains feed).

    Cheers. Hot side of the kitchen mixer is fine but cold side is article of water and it seems like there not enough pressure pushing the cold water through. Are there specific taps suitable to high pressure areas and low pressure areas and may I have got the wrong one? again pressure in all other taps is fine, including the utility room

    There are specific taps but it's never usually an issue for the mains feed and if the hot water is fine, the cold water should have enough pressure as well.

    Is there a valve on the cold side that needs to be opened fully?

    Cold shouldn't be an issue. If you haven't mixed up hot & cold then I'd suggest it's a faulty mixer
