Applying for Derelict Property Grant

    Hi,

I've bought a house that has been vacant for a number of years. I've started the application for the vacant home grant. I want to apply for the derelict home grant as well as the property is in pretty bad condition. On the gov.ie website it says in order to apply for the derelict property grant you need 'an independent report confirming the property is structurally unsound and dangerous'. However, there is no information that about where/how to get such a report.

Can anyone shed any light on how to go about this?

    Thanks for any help,

    Andrew
