Is every radio station in Ireland in love with Lewis Capaldi?

Or do they all just feel sorry for that screaming wailing little whingebag?

I can nearly time like a clock now when one of his ear-splitting nauseating songs is going to be played, normally there's about 20 minutes between them.

It's hopeless when this weirdo who squeals like a tortured pig is forever described as a "unique talent with an exceptional voice".

FFS, STOP PLAYING HIS SONGS INCESSANTLY!!!!!

Siúl leat, siúl leat, le dóchas i do chroí, is ní shiúlfaidh tú i d'aonar go deo.

That "I wish we had Las Vegas in the Hills of Donegal" song by one hit wonder group Goats don't Shave. Having huge soulless casinos and hotels dotted around the beautiful Donegal landscape would be absolutely horrifying!

Absolutely everything by The Smiths. Said it before , say it again. I know the band were talented and could have been great musicians but the were stuck with tuneless monotonous junk. Never was I more vindicated when it turned out that Morrissey was the tosser I always imagined he was.

They play it on nova all the time. It stinks.

Oh that crooning arsehle. The new Michael Bolton.

    And as above Derm Kennedy.

'All night to get lucky' (liked at first but got saturated airplay)

I was at a hacking competition a few years ago, hosted by Facebook and they started playing that. Turns out it was the only song they had, so they plaed it on loop for an hour until someone went to the organisers and offered them their spotify account.

Ive heard it enough for one lifetime.

As a teenager I was a big fan of Mr Bluesky by ELO, but the National Lottery now have playing on each one of their adverts, and the adverts are on at every ad break.

That Mr. Blue-sky song. Just phuck off.

Anything by Bon Jovi or Coldplay.

Candle in the Wind by Elton John and My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion. I don't have the vocabulary to describe how I loathe these aural assaults on the senses.

"Season of the sticks" or whatever the hell it's called.

    Please..... just make it stop.

Can anyone please explain to me how all of a sudden "Free from desire, mind and senses purified…nanana nana nana..." has become some kind of a celebration anthem? It's played at almost every sporting event now and still sounds as awful and ridiculous as it was when it was first released. "My love has got no money, he's got his 'trom-ba-lees'..." is what I always thought she was blabbering.

Siúl leat, siúl leat, le dóchas i do chroí, is ní shiúlfaidh tú i d'aonar go deo.

These songs that keep popping up in my tik tok, ‘Good morning to the cutie pie’, ‘Hello there lemon head what do u said’ and ‘Baked baked bean show you what I mean’. I cannot get them out of my head, and every time I encounter a cat or dog now I have to say to them ‘Good morning Pineapple’.

That “Dog Days are over” song by Florence and the Machine. It’s a headwreck of a tune that is completely overplayed and overused.

“Just forget the World “ by Snow Patrol - a dreary depressing overplayed borefest.

There’s a dance tune doing the rounds on radio at the moment called “I love the way you kiss me”. It’s utter diarrhoea and it stays in your head for the whole day.

Time to put childish things aside.

Just in case it hasn't already been mentioned . . 'Life is life, la la la di da!'

Fairly sure that sh1te was written by someone whose first language wasn't english.

Frankie- Sister Sledge. You could not escape that song when it was released, to the extent that nigh on 40 years later I would scream if I heard it.

LMFAO (not the term the artist, party rock etc), Flo-rida, Cascada, Rihanna. Collectively I banded them altogether as children's songs for adults. Think baby shark. Just repeating lyrics:

"come on rude, rude, rude boy get it up"

"You spin my head right round right round"

Or some other stupid line that is repeated 80% of the song. Fckn brain washing. When people talk of the music of their youth they have fond memories, mine was just a cacophony of hell everytime I went out.

    Yellow Submarine by The Beatles.

The Beatles are a band I like…. But the vocal by Ringo is absolutely appalling….the song itself isn’t good, a real mid tempo trudging, off key silly song but if they had John, George or Paul sing it then it might have been classed an an amusing / passable little ditty or curio or some such I don’t know… but that off key droopy warbling…. He was the drummer, he couldn’t sing, the three others could so… 😵‍💫. It’s painful to hear it.
