Anyone regularly go to NI to use Royal Mail services/postbox like me?

Living along the border I've used Royal Mail occasionally but usually couldn't be bothered saving a few cents on second class mail. You'd want to have a high volume of post to travel from Dublin just for that. If you visit regularly anyway then it's hardly going to NI to use Royal Mail.

This is what I was going to say. I go across the border to Donegal to post anything for the continent now, as it's easily a week slower when posted from NI compared to the south.

I presume it's the same in reverse, ie posting to the UK is probably faster from NI.

Don't know that I'd drive to Dublin to do it though, unless I was running a small mail-order business perhaps.

I don't think you can post many letters or parcels from Oohpod.

There's something fishy about this thread.

Considering royal mail is expensive and unreliable, the only advantage is posting letters to the UK.

Op is suggesting to post items in NI.

It may be an offence under the postal acts to take post out of the jurisdiction for the purposes of sending it into the jurisdiction.
