Kaiserslautern v Hertha an entertaining end to end encounter. 3-3 with 20 minutes left.

So Leverkusen are beaten already so early in the season.

And having been 2 up as well.

Schalke 3-0 up at home against Darmstadt and end up losing 5-3

Good win for Hertha away to Nurnburg yesterday. The football they're playing now under Cristian Fiél, is night and day to the muck they were playing the last few seasons.

Good game between Leverkusen and Wolfsburg. 3-3 with 25 minutes left.

Bad day at the office for Dortmund. Battered 5-1 by Stuttgart.

    That Stuttgart team are useful.

They gave Madrid a real game midweek too. Had plenty of chances.

Dortmund 2 down at home to Bochum after 20 minutes. Sahin will be under pressure, if it stays like this.

Two of the most ridiculous penalties I've ever seen and both in one half today in Magdeburg. First, the Fürth keeper rolls the ball to his CB Gideon Jung, who thought he was giving it to him to take a kickout even though the ball never went out of play. He picked the ball up with his hands and the ref gives a pen.

Then Magdeburg, not to be outdone, concede a penalty when Daniel Heber just picked the ball up for no reason. Bizarre. Type of stuff you'd see from 6 year olds.

They've now set a new record by scoring 5 goals in each of their past 3 away games too after hammering Schalke earlier on. Each game ending 5-2, coincidentally.

Enjoyable cup derby between Leverkusen and Koln. Leverkusen were 2 down and got back level in the 5th minutes of stoppage time. Extra time starting now.

    Live on

Premier Sport could have shown it, but preferred to put on a repeat of a rugby match from the weekend instead…

No EPL or Championship on and Sky have the Bundesliga confined to the Sky Sports app, while they have Netball and Northern Ireland football on television. Jesus H Christ! The sooner someone else picks up the rights the better.

Leverkusen v Bayern just kicked off. A must win for the former, I think. If they want to stay in the fight.

A 0-0 draw. Bayern will be delighted with that

Hertha only 5 points off the relegation playoff spot in 2.Bundesliga. Christ

HSV drew Werder in the women's pokal semi final last week and it's approaching 50k tickets sold already, so it'll set a new record for domestic football in Germany in 3 weeks time. Might end up selling out the Volkspark.

Yeah, they all take points from each other. Looks like it will go down to the wire.

Was very surprised to see how easily Bayern beat Leverkusen last night.

Ok, i know the keeper gifted them a goal, and they had a man sent off, but Bayern were relatively comfortable considering how Leverkusen have had the better of them for the last couple of seasons.

Bayern physically dominated them I thought.

Funny how Bayern slipped today at home to Bochum after a 1st half red card from Paolinho. After a 2:0 lead no less.
Only to see Leverkusen to be beat by Bremen 0:2 at home too. Team of the hour is Mainz after another away win.

You'd get some odds for Leverkusen, Munich and Dortmund all losing on any given weekend.

Ah the league is done. Bayern might take their eye off a little becasue all about CL now but I think its done.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,337 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

Especially with a chance of being at home for the final.

No Champions League football next year in Dortmund. An era coming to an end really and where does Dortmund go from here? Selling your best players every single year was going to catch up with them eventually.

This year may well be over, but Bayern never stop. Tom Bischof currently at TSG Hoffenheim, will join them on 1 July 2025, a couple of days after his 20th birthday. His stats are through the roof, and he'll own the left mid spot for years to come, and will inevitably break into the senior German squad too.

Interestingly Bayern only have 2 points more at this stage than they did last year, but everyone else has fallen off a cliff.

Last year at this time, we had the team in 5th on 49 points, whereas this season, third place is on 45 points!
