But I thought you had to sell at face value on ticketmaster?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 308 ✭✭Titanium11

Ticketmaster is extremely slow and the technology on it is extremely bad.

Tickets on there show as available. Then when you click into the ticket, it shows as unavailable.

I went back to look at the same ticket. It has been showing as available for the last hour. But it's not available.

How could they not have refreshed the website in one hour, to show that this ticket has actually been bought and is not available. It still shows as available

I think I've decided I would rather not see coldplay then spend another two days of my life fighting with the ticketmaster site.

After many many hours of trying, One time it let me get through to the payment details for a ticket. This was the only time I got that far.

I put in my payment details and it then said "oops! Page not found.

I think I've decided not to try to see coldplay anymore as I can't bear messing around with the badly designed ticketmaster site anymore

I just sold my ticket and I was only able to list it for the exact price I paid.

Dynamic pricing. Fortunes for average seats when there’s enough demand. Ticketmaster will claim they’re only doing what airlines hotels etc do when there is high demand.

Chris martin was apparently chatting to loads of people in dun laoghaire.

I should have gone to dun laoghaire for the day. Would have been cheaper!

Is it worth going to a pub outside croke Park and listening. I see people online saying they can hear the music down the street outside

where are folks getting any resale tickets? The Ticketmaster site only shows one or two every so often but very rarely two together- which is what I need.
    Any advice greatly appreciated.

Has anyone used gigsberg website for tickets? Seems legit. Prices are very high but nearly willing to bite the bullet once I get some confirmation it's fully legit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 308 ✭✭Titanium11

Its hit and miss. There must be some genuine tickets on there.

bu There have been a lot of news stories about scams on gigsberg.

The Most common scam is the tickets are sent to the buyers phone. But when the buyer goes to use the ticket, the ticket has already been used

Ye read about that but going through the seatpick website offers a 100% guarantee but of the tickets used how do they prove who used it. Hard to know if it is worth the risk

Less a gig and more a dress rehearsal in crowd control in the event of a Close Encounters style alien visitation.

A bizarre evening with a creepy sexless piety that reminded me of the Pope's Mass in the Phoenix Park in 1979.

I did enjoy their rendition of the theme from the Arnold Schwarzeegger 90s scifi kitschfest movie Total Recall - oops sorry, that's their 2008 hit Viva La Vida.

One moment that did make me laugh was Chris Martin's opening statement that the rear generator was powered by cooking oil. This explains why Croke Park ran out of chips for sale at precisely 7.20pm.

No one need have any FOMO over the weekend over this.

    not a fan?

anyone I know who's been and in general online have been really positive about the gig.

    That was **** deadly…

However, the little improv Thank You 'Bono' moment will haunt Chris for a while I'd say.

Amazing show fantastic stuff altogether, weather helped add to occasion, great vibe, they have some selection of hits. Although I did find issues trying to make out what he was saying at times. Otherwise thought sound was good. Surprised they was no real security check going in and it wasn't busy at that time about 7pm. Could have had a six pack of beer with me. Anyway well done Coldplay one of the best concerts I was ever at.

What a cracking gig. Simply incredible. Was in Pitch B and it was phenomenal.

Such a spectacle from start to finish.

Couldn't agree more. I've seen Coldplay several times before their current "version" and was skeptical going in tonight, but that show absolutely blew me away. I would gladly go back on Sunday and Monday , it was exceptional.

I'd take the Christy cover Monday
