Dynamic pricing. Fortunes for average seats when there’s enough demand. Ticketmaster will claim they’re only doing what airlines hotels etc do when there is high demand.

Chris martin was apparently chatting to loads of people in dun laoghaire.

I should have gone to dun laoghaire for the day. Would have been cheaper!

Seems alot quieter tonight than last night?

Is it worth going to a pub outside croke Park and listening. I see people online saying they can hear the music down the street outside

where are folks getting any resale tickets? The Ticketmaster site only shows one or two every so often but very rarely two together- which is what I need.
    Any advice greatly appreciated.

Has anyone used gigsberg website for tickets? Seems legit. Prices are very high but nearly willing to bite the bullet once I get some confirmation it's fully legit.

Its hit and miss. There must be some genuine tickets on there.

bu There have been a lot of news stories about scams on gigsberg.

The Most common scam is the tickets are sent to the buyers phone. But when the buyer goes to use the ticket, the ticket has already been used

Ye read about that but going through the seatpick website offers a 100% guarantee but of the tickets used how do they prove who used it. Hard to know if it is worth the risk

Less a gig and more a dress rehearsal in crowd control in the event of a Close Encounters style alien visitation.

A bizarre evening with a creepy sexless piety that reminded me of the Pope's Mass in the Phoenix Park in 1979.

I did enjoy their rendition of the theme from the Arnold Schwarzeegger 90s scifi kitschfest movie Total Recall - oops sorry, that's their 2008 hit Viva La Vida.

One moment that did make me laugh was Chris Martin's opening statement that the rear generator was powered by cooking oil. This explains why Croke Park ran out of chips for sale at precisely 7.20pm.

No one need have any FOMO over the weekend over this.

    That was **** deadly…

However, the little improv Thank You 'Bono' moment will haunt Chris for a while I'd say.

Amazing show fantastic stuff altogether, weather helped add to occasion, great vibe, they have some selection of hits. Although I did find issues trying to make out what he was saying at times. Otherwise thought sound was good. Surprised they was no real security check going in and it wasn't busy at that time about 7pm. Could have had a six pack of beer with me. Anyway well done Coldplay one of the best concerts I was ever at.

What a cracking gig. Simply incredible. Was in Pitch B and it was phenomenal.

Such a spectacle from start to finish.

Couldn't agree more. I've seen Coldplay several times before their current "version" and was skeptical going in tonight, but that show absolutely blew me away. I would gladly go back on Sunday and Monday , it was exceptional.

Really good gig last night. Such an experience. Felt it wasn't as good as the 2017 gig though, mixture of a better set list and the crowd where I was in Pitch B I thought were a bit meh…..the amount of people recording on phones throughout gig was shocking i thought. Fair enough get a snapshot of a song or 2 but some people just constantly recording during an amazing gig….just enjoy it like!!

Saying that, I think I would totally go again on Sun or Mon

Excellent gig yesterday, and a great atmosphere.

I was in Davin stand, at the bottom of the upper tier. Whilst it was far back, I would happily go back to the exact same spot for another night if I could get a ticket. People were taking occasional photos or quick videos, but no-one had their phone out for more than a few seconds at a time near me.

I'd agree that 2017 was a bit better. Could argue that the set list issue was on me for not really following the newer stuff. I thought the Crowd in Pitch B were ok but agree that the phones recording everything were mad. Even when he stopped A Sky Full of Stars and restarted it, asking everyone to put their phones away, I'd say 10-20% just kept them out and couldn't help themselves. A few snaps here and there are good but jeez, its gotten so endemic at gigs these days. At Taylor Swift, there were girls recording the entire thing.

My only real complaint was that the end of the gig is very anticlimactic and flat. Fix You as the third last song has the energy to close out the show. It felt like the crowd weren't too pushed on the last two songs and it kind of petered out.

The new song We Pray I thought was brilliant.

Great gig though and anyone going will have an amazing time.
