No. It changes often enough from limited to low to limited etc. It doesn't mean anything. I tried few mins ago, and pitch standing came up. But of course it said no availability.

To be honest, I would have just given up altogether. Except that - yesterday I was trying Ticketmaster for a lot of the day for tickets for last night. Was getting lots of hits, and they all said not available when trying to acquire them. However, at around 5pm, I got a hit - lower cusack section 305. Good tickets. And this time it didn't say unavailable. It got me straight through to the payment section. This is where things went wrong, but nothing to do with Ticketmaster. I was looking at the price - €166 including fees. And I couldn't do it. I never spent anything like that on tickets and vowed to myself a long time ago not to. Basically not to give in to corporate greed. So I closed it out. I felt good in myself at first, but an awful case of the FOMOs came on me when the others at work were on about going. Anyway, I was sorry I didn't take the ticket. I know €166 is on the cheaper side for the Coldplay tickets, but it's still an awful lot of money. But I think in hindsight, if I get the chance again, I'll buy one.

Anyway. Bit of a rant there. But the lesson is - keep trying.

Yeah, you have to get very lucky.

I've twice got through to payment page but for €300+ tickets, so left them.

Usually though the payment page doesn't load as tickets aren't available as someone else has got there.

It doesn't help that there's a delay on the TM front-end, so tickets still show up as coming up for sale even if they've been bought several minutes previously. They usually disappear then within a few minutes, buts it's frustrating.

Ya, merch is inside the stadium. There are people selling stuff outside but it ain't legit stuff…

You get a specific wristband that gets you in to any pitch section but you're meant to register for it between 3 and 4pm. Between 4pm-5pm we had all had our tickets scanned but waited in croke Park with loads of stewards as Coldplay did soundcheck. You can probably go for regular entry, but you might not get your gift (tote bag and thermo bottle) and access to pitch a or b if you want to be there.

Toutless appears to be down? Combo of this & oasis on?

Pretty much eliminates any chance of getting one for tonight 😞

I am fuming I got Sunday tickets tbh. Missing Liverpool vs United. 2nd time in three summers I'm missing this fixture for a gig.

Presume merch stands are still open after the gig? Have time to kill after as our bus isn’t until 12 so would rather go for a look then.

I believe that an influx of scammers and clones yesterday or the day before when registrations were allowed meant it got shut down.

The match is at 4 though.

Utd Liverpool games are usually dire anyway, last year was the exception.

I got suspended from ticketmaster on my laptop and now my phone. I'm out of options too.

It's shifted back there in the last few minutes from Limited to Low Availability

I have to admit I was completely wrong about this last year - I thought there'd be loads of tix flying around this week for this.

Looks like resale is closed on ticketmaster. And toutless down. If anyone has any last minute ticket to sell for tonight, please let me know. I can't think of any other means to get a ticket now. Unless go down to Croke Park later.

Drove up, parked at red cow, went onto gigsberg, bought a ticket for davin stand, received it 15 mins later. More expensive, but so much easier than spending more hours refreshing ticket master and getting no where...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,529 ✭✭✭Mrs Shuttleworth

Why why why is TB showing tickets available then you click on it immediately and it says "Unavailable" and then the same ticket(s) keep displaying as available?? I mean WTAF??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,486 ✭✭✭crl84

Because pages aren't updated every second.
    They're updated every few minutes.

Hopefully you get in. Plenty of reports of people buying from gigsberg and getting scammed:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/Concerts/comments/uvjvcb/is_gigsberg_a_scam/

Pure luck as to whether the seller is legit or not. Gigsberg don't care once they take a cut.

I was weary, but having received them in my ticketmaster account, they should be good - will update if they're not! All of the scams seem to be people not receiving anything, or a fake link to them.

I'm not at all happy having to use third party sites, but given my last few days of getting nowhere on ticketmaster, I didn't see another way of getting one.

    Later!!

@Mrs Shuttleworth great to hear someone got some through ticketmaster! Just as two of us are desperately trying, how did you manage to get it? Through your phone, on the app, on a laptop? Thanks!!

Just got 2 on the app, €86 each. Up in the gods but f-ck it

It gives access to your choice. You get a specific wristband which lets you choose pitch a, b, or c

Early entry is a bit of a joke for the price, I had it yesterday and all it meant was we got to stand in a pissy tunnel for about 40 minutes.

The A, B thing had me concerned but once you're escorted to the pitch you can choose where you want to stand, perks of the wristband. This does not prevent those without the early entry wristbands from making their way up to the stage etc.

Abroad, the security only allowed early entry wristband holders in certain sections and were constantly ejecting people for crowd control. Unfortunately Croker is a free for all. Happy to have gone but paying high prices just to be trampled on by some cu#nts that paid a fraction doesn't seem too fair at all.

And while I'm at it and just to get it off my chest, a couple, I won't state their nationality, chose to attend a concert right up the front in close proximity to a packed crowd, without a bit of deodorant between them.

Dozens of us looking at each other in disbelief throughout the concert. Never have I ever experienced anything like it. Eye watering. How people can be unaware they stink to high heaven, or worse, choose to do so is beyond me. Coldplay were class as always.

The local security did not seem to know what the fu#k was going on. Early entry wristband holders are entitled to collect a gift, and are instructed to do so via the same route they came in, the yellow route.

Everyone with a high vis just wanted to clear the place and large groups had formed trying to make their way back out the same route, at times being prevented and directed toward exits towards the opposite end of the stadium.

Hundreds would've lost out on the gift bag as once you're out, you're out. It's not a life changing gift but the tickets are expensive enough so it's nice to get. So tell your buddy not to take any shite from the many "robo cops" in the place and make sure they leave via Davin.

Not sure if it's A or B, but the standing section on the right side of the stage as you face it looks much busier from my view from the Davin. Even the C standing area is much busier on the right side.

Why would their nationality matter? Plenty of smelly Irish people where I was. It was a warm evening.
