Just putting this out there on the off-chance it might be of use to even one of you.

I had two tickets last night, and when we got to the security queue for Pitch A, I got delayed (there were 2 queues for girls and 1 for lads). They were scanning tickets just past the security section, so she had to wait for me (the tickets were on my phone). By the time I got through security and had my ticket scanned, she was already standing away from the scanning crew, so we just walked on in. When I realised I had a ticket that hadn't been scanned, I transferred it to a pal who was in town, and she hopped in a taxi and got in with the second ticket. Like so many others, she'd spent the last few days/months searching for tickets, so you can imagine her happiness.

Anyway, I know that's not going to be much use to most of you, but if you find yourself in the same position I did, and have a pal near the venue, it's a very nice feeling to get one over on Ticketmaster for a change.

100% this is happening because its happening again this morning.

Nothing to do with bots running as others have said. It's just ticketmasters crap system

We parked in Phibsborough, took a 30 minute walk back to car and was a breeze heading down to Cork (just late).

This is it. The system is awful and tickets get locked up on the ticketmaster system on hold so easily. Nothing to do with bots, just a crappy framework that they have no incentive to fix or upgrade.

As an example, if you add a ticket to your basket and eventually don't buy it, that ticket doesn't immediately release back into the pool immediately. But it can sit there on the front-end looking available for purchase. Conversely if you've a ticket in your basket but not paid for, it can sit on the front-end for others to see until the purchase is completed.

Never heard anything by her before, but thought she was good. I’d actually like to know her set list.

Maggie Rogers is amazing, im a big fan. Another reason im so annoyed at my absolute lack of any luck with getting tickets.

TM and Twickets all seem to be gone before they even hit my screen.

Also there was a lot of international people at the gig. In the queue there were French people behind me, Brazilians in front of me, on the pitch I was beside people from London and Spain, someone from Germany was behind me, and Chris brought on people on stage who are Italian. And that's just from around me.

I'm bringing teens with me on Sunday night who are as excited to see her as Coldplay. I hope you enjoy.

Managed to get one ticket through a resale on TM last week thanks to the steps on here. Wanted two but could only get one. Felt guilty last night leaving the wife but had to take the chance of going to see the show.

Had a seated ticket and when I got through the turnstile I noticed there was signs pointing at Pitch, and as I was on my own, I followed them and blagged my way onto the pitch. They were directing everyone to the first entrance onto the pitch but I walked around and went through to the pitch on the opposite side and got up alot further than I thought I would.

Great show and they really know how to get the crowd going. Crowd were really good and everyone in great form, seen no messing. Brilliant show.

We had an amazing time last night. I had pitch c tickets but ended up standing at pitch b, quite close to the stage. Trying for a pair of sunday night tickets so could bring my son, but I guess chances of getting tickets on TM are now very slim.

Didn't see anything separating pitches. We were there listening to supports acts and stayed in the same spot for Coldplay.

Looking at moving from b to c or vice versa as we have friends in the other section.

How easy is it to move sections?

Looked like everyone had a great night

In pitch C tonight. View seems ok from the photos I’ve seen. I was worried it was way back based on the maps I’d seen of the set up. Planning on heading in around 6:30/7. Would it be fairly fully at that stage?

My bad, must be blind or was to exited to miss barriers. Turns out we were at pitch c whole time lol. Can't complain about the view especialy when band moved to small stage at the end of pitch c, towards the end of the gig. Doesn't matter where you're sitting or standing, everyone will be in for as serious treat.

But once you resell them once, you can't sell them again. So I don't see how that's possible?

We're in Pitch A on Monday night. In terms of going back out from there to the toilets or bar, do you have to make your way back out through Pitch C or is there a side entrance/exit?

I hope they keep the same setlist for Sunday as I know some bands like to switch out one or two songs

i have the floris early entry tickets for today, just wondering for anyone who went yesterday we dont want to get in too early so is it okay to just go for the regular entry at 5? How does that work do we just go through the red entry or still yellow?

    No need to sneer.

Just trying to organise a bit of happiness and cheer for some very very deserving little people and their family/carers.

Update : promoters to ring me back later on - progress!!

I arrived into pitch C at about 6.30 last night and I had no problem getting a good spot about 10 people back from the front most circle stage. But I didn't leave that spot once I found it. In fairness a few people around me in groups were going to the toilet and back again and had no problems returning

    Re: access from Pit A.

You exit by the side and work your way back out. You enter Pit A via the tunnel under Hill 16. The whole front section is closed off.

I wonder has the site crashed again as not allowing me to change the number of tickets since 13.40 for any night
