well numerous people close to him have talked about how he freely uses the n-word so I wouldn’t say my opinions are based on imagination….

Mental issues, low in testosterone, what's your next claim? Funnily enough, you're not addressing any of the posters discussing the pricing issue. Thought you were the resident economics expert?

Something about looks? Now Trump is saying he's better looking than Kamala…

(How much more does he need to do to convince everyone he's as mad as a brush?!)

You could say that about anything. Thats why fact checking and research is so important so people base their opinions based on more than other peoples opinions.

Carlsberg, probably the best Lager in the world. Thats according to someones opinion. I have tasted a hell of a lot of other much better lagers though so I recognise that as being someones elses opinion, not a fact.

Im happy enough being against Price controls as a default view, if Harris is making a point of going after "price gouging" it might sell in a certain populist view but even on Dem friendly media CNN etc you wont see a rake of economists being brought on to amply it.

who checks the "fact checkers"? the fine people hoax for example is still doing the rounds even though its been debunked a million times but enough people stay in their silos that facts dont matter

I agree entirely with that, it's what saved Charlie Haughy bacon on a couple of occasions with people waiting for him to resign.

Are you not happy with the new drug price restrictions? Or insulin capped at $35?

For a refresher, here they are:

    AA1oR1Y0.jpeg

That is set to save the Americans that rely on those drugs 7.5 BILLION in 2026.

Or, you could also phrase it that this will cost pharmaceutical companies 7.5 billion dollars to bring in.

If you don't see this as a good thing, can you break it down for me as to why?

She's not proposing price controls and you've been told this multiple times...

Yes, drive it home, every day, to the finish line. If two fronts, Rust Belt and Sun Belt, opened up as pathways to Harris/Walz victory, no amount of election deniers would stop the ratification of the results. Beat him, out the gap.

I can't help but notice that we've got a discussion about an actual political policy from Harris, while on the other side of the coin we've got Donnie having yet another meltdown about crowd sizes and his attempt to be "serious" about the economy amounted to holding different sizes of Tic-Tac containers…before he fell right back into his usual script.

This is what we're getting at MAGA-folks. One of these is a political canditate you can debate with, agree with or disagree with. The other one is a narcasitic child who is more focused on his image and getting away with his transgressions (which he believes he's allowed to do). One should be President…the other should never be responsible for anything let alone an entire Nation.

Exactly. Harris could lay out the longest, most balanced economic policy and if someone found a figure rounded up incorrectly, "This is an economic disaster and will never work and will completely ruin the country!"

Trump can stand at a podium, say "I'm going to fix the economy, and it's going to be so great, so beautiful", and those same people will be lauding and praising Trump for having an amazing policy that will fix the economy.

I heard an analyst on CNN this morning make a similar point to what I made a few days ago regarding Harris and not doing a full on interview. It doesn't or wont be much of a gain for her. Two types of people would watch that kind of interview, people who are already intending to vote for her and people who have no intention of voting for her. Meanwhile she can do rallies and townhouses and get her message out to people who are unsure, keep the energy going, keep the buzz alive.

Speaking of hard hitting debates, has Donald ever done a hard hitting debate? A chat on video with his mate Elon does not count.

I see Donald is planning a load of rallies this week to try and take some of the focus off the DNC. Er… considering he basically went quiet the week before last, and all the headlines are going to be from the DNC, surely this week would have been better strategically for a "rest".

Just heard now he has said he thinks he is better looking than Kamala Harris. Do we have any red blooded straight women on this thread? Do you concur with that sentiment?

Trump has done about 6 interviews all with conservative wing nuts.

The one he do with largely proper journalists was with the National Association of Black Journalists was a car crashing into a train which was crashing off a bridge.

Taking a rest during the DNC would be a wise use for resources.

Unfortunatly for them, Donnie is so very childish and self absorbed that his intense jealousy of the coverage Harris will get during the week will make him want to "upstage" her.

Never mind how bad this will end up making him look, or the need for his campaign to sit and review the DNC for potential strategy…no…*Donnie must be the most important one!!!* So he will rant and whine and rage, while the DNC, Harris, Walz and Biden transmit the image of a united party with a message of hope.

It'll be night & day while the GOP sit with their face in their hands, wondering how the hell they got here.

The GOP have been building this strategy since the 1980s - they just failed to imagine that they would be captured by Trump and completely derailed in their ultimate objective.

No pity for the party of fuckers that is the GOP.

I see the odds on Kamala winning have lengthened, she must have started talking policy again, or just talking in general even, the Donald just needs to chillax from here on in, the communism narrative seems to be working and I’m fairly sure Kamala will provide more ammunition in the coming weeks, if someone on her team doesn’t tell her to stop trying to explain concepts like she’s had a quick glance at Wikipedia then the Donald is pres once again.

Ohh, my god you;re right - fallen by 2.1%!!

She's still at 52.4% chance of winning though with Trump 47.6, so I don't think they'll be panicking just yet.

Also I'm not sure Trump talking policy is gonna swing it.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Your interpretation of polling seems vastly different to every pundit going... Nobody thinks Trump is doing a good job atm. Constant disasters, not able to discuss policies and outright attacking unions. Rose tinted glasses is the best description of your analysis.

An effective tie in the betting with both available around 10/11 (DJT Evens if you shop around) is something that was beyond the wildest dreams of Dem fans around 4 weeks ago. So no panic yet. It's not as if she was ever going to marching all the way down to 1/10. Undeniable imo that KT momentum stalled a little last week and that Trump had a relatively decent week of campaigning (said nothing too outrageous, polls stabilised etc).

Meanwhile Trump is sharing AI Generated posts claiming that Taylor Swift has endorsed him

    image.png

    Now , that's pathetic..

This was one of 30+ "truths" he shat out overnight as once again he sat all alone in his bedroom with his demons…

Betting odds are decided by the money being placed on the bet at any one stage. Most gambling on politics is by your emotional ties to the canditate.

It's similar to tge emotional reason all those that have invested in Truth Social have done. The smart money went on Harris 4-6 weeks ago when Biden was saying he was not stepping down. Harris was at 3 or 5 to 1.

If I had a substantial bet like that and now that she is presidential nominee I be safeguarding the bet now by backing DT

10k@3-1 is 30 in potential profit.

Backing DT now at even is with 10k eliminates the risk to your bet so you have a potential upside of 20k with no downside

If she endorsed him, why is she singing at the DNC?? It's not like she needs to money..

His approach to pissing off the youth vote may unintentionally make them more likely to vote. The more unhinged he behaves, the more concerned people get by the idea of him back in office. If he'd maintained some calm since he got shot, he'd be in a better position imho.

This is how he is, though. Nothing's changed in 8 years. Unhinged kind of minimizes the lunacy that spews from this man over, and over, and over again.

He "plans" these behaviours as much as he plans anything, and he never regrets them. Never. He doubles down, his VP slimeball does the same.

Convicted Felon Trump won't change while he draws breath. Should he lose, and perhaps go off into obscurity (small possibility), if he lives to be old and gray, he'll still be babbling about fake news, conspiracies against him, won both elections, so unfair… It's what he is.

Ask your average 18-25 year what are their concerns and a lot of them will say the planet, so Donalds drill, drill, drill rhetoric has likely put a lot of them off.

The same age group are also very sensitive to racsism and sexism and misogyny, so I would imagine he has lost their votes too. In that age group I imagine the only people planning to vote for him are your MAGA Incels.
