I reckon unlike the “Biden thread” here, Trump knew this day was coming - if it’s Harris, his script writers have already written the 90 minute “abuse scripts” which he’ll use at his rallies.

Harris could very possibly win- but the Democrats need to:

1. Call her their only candidate - NOW
2. Market the **** out of her for the next 4 months until she’s fit to drop
3. On the ground, as the they did in past elections, organise the low turn out ethic vote who are notoriously apethetic/releuctant/whatever at turning out to vote on the day

Why do people think Harris will improve the Democrats chances? Is that so many people who'd ordinarily vote blue have been so uninspired by Biden lately that the fear was that they just wouldn't show up to vote? I can't imagine anyone thinks she'll be a reason for anyone to change their vote.
