Balmoston Donabate

+1. I seriously considered buying there, but decided not to for the same reason.

Donabate is being hit worse though because there's a lot of developments happening there. Balmoston alone will have 1200 homes.

Also, for Balmoston the figure is 20% social + 20% affordable (Part V is 20%, of which 10% must be social), so it is almost double the required amount for Balmoston.

Not factoring how many will be rented by housing bodies, so IMO quite high in comparision to other developments etc I heard some rumours Fingal originally wanted the development to be 30-40% social, not sure how true is that though

I am also looking at this development. The 3 bed semi is out of my price range by 20k so am considering the 3 bed duplex. I emailed and requested to look at a shophouse but was told there are none. It is quite hard to see from the plans certain things.

Do the duplex townhouses have their own front doors or is it shared?

Some of the duplexes have a terraces and some have a garden, does anyone know the dimensions?

How is the terrace accessed? I cannot see where the door is on the plan?

Is there cost rental in the development? Or is it just social and affordable.
