Jap Import Toyota Estima or similar should suit your needs. Given your budget it could be at least 10 years old though.

Moving away from diesel probably make sense if you’re only doing short journeys. A spacious 7 seat petrol hybrid like an older Estima won’t be all that environmentally friendly at 30mpg approx. A bigger budget would open up some plug in hybrid options like a Sorento or Santa Fe.

I haven't done it myself, but you could import from Japan (via an importer), but you'd be waiting for the car for a few months. It cuts out the Irish dealers, who understandably need to make their own profit too.

What fuel consumption are you expecting? Around town, you're not going to do much better than a Toyota Hybrid, unless you went for a PHEV / EV.
