Charging a Samsung Galaxy A15

I have just bought a Galaxy A15 and discover that it does not come with a "mains adapter" and there is just a small white lead with what looks like 2 hdmi connectors at each end , one of which (the larger) fits into the phone and the other.…where?

It is too small to fit into the back of my existing mains adapters that I have accumulated over the years and likewise too small to fit into the back of the pc that I have.

Will I have to go back to the shop and buy a mains adapter especially for this new phone?

Should they have warned me or am I just the last person to find out that phones have changed since the last time I bought one?

    You need a USB-C mains adapter - https://ie.mobilefun.com/olixar-basics-mini-20w-usb-c-charger-white-83430

Just use your existing cable and adapter, those Samsung usb-c cables are nonsense!

Thanks . When I bought the phone there was what I describe as a "bible barker" outside the shop with a loud speaker system and driving my salesman round the bend(he was just about to call the gards)

If he had been less distracted he might have explained to me about the need for a usb-3 and also that the setup process would drain all the credit I had in my sim had since I was using my sim card in town....

Doesn't seem to work .The connector at the phone end of the cable of my xcover4 is too small to go in this new phone.

Same with my Samsung Galaxy Tab

Probably micro usb cable for that phone which is pretty old. Best bet is as already advised get a wall adapter to fit the usb-c cable that came with the phone

You need a main adapter for Samsung devices. I had the same issue when I recently bought a new Samsung phone and there was no main adapter in the box - but my previous phone was also a Samsung so I used that adapter. I think it might be common enough that there are no main included when buying a new mobile, though in my case the salesperson mentioned it and asked me if I wanted one.

You'd need to buy it yourself - you can probably do that from where you bought the phone or anywhere they sell such equipment- or even online. Maybe you could also check with close friends and family if they have a spare one they could give you?
