Sweet jesus, you'd need pythagoras sitting next to you trying to figure the point scoring in the omniom

Hoping Bol beats sourpuss McLaughlin but it’s unlikely.

Kate O’Connor needs to do some training with Sarah Lavin to speed up. She was the slowest in the hurdles. Glad she did well in the high jump. I have a soft spot for KJT. Seems a nice girl & when she first started out it was Jess Ennis the golden girl & she got little coverage. I think Thiam will win but I hope she medals.

Think Noah Lyles will win the 200m tonight. He did the same in the 100m. I don’t think he’s bothered about what lane he gets.

Something Sharlene said after her race was she needs to train with faster people. In an ideal world the 3 girls would train together from the 400m. How amazing would that be. It’ll never happen but to progress it seems they need to go abroad.

3-0 now here in Nantes but ref no longer allowing praying after the goal.

    Meanwhile, in a stand nearby

The real question, which side does Allah want to win? 😮

In the women's volleyball, USA edged Brazil 3-2. I have no idea why the final set is shorter in both volleyball and beach volleyball, but lots of things in sport don't make sense.

I think Sydney’s flat speed will be too much for Bol. Bol wins if Sydney’s hurdling isn’t great. But both hurdling well, it’s pace that wins.

    50.8 wins it

5-0 now. Maybe it's Egypt who need to do the praying. Morocco seem intent on inflicting as big a defeat as possible.

I can't wait for the 110 metre hurdles tonight. I just love watching Grant Holloway in action. I said the other night he's poetry in motion. Renaldo Nehemiah is the only other sprint hurdler who was miles ahead at hurdling than everybody else.

I want to see him winning the gold after having to settle for silver at the last Olympics.

6-0 with a sublime free kick curling right into the top corner.

Bell looked impressive qualifying 2nd there. I can’t remember seeing her much in recent years

Mageean beat her handy enough in the Europeans.

    3.58 a serious time for a semi-final.

Jack Carlin has to be out in the men's sprint right? Clearly went over line.
