Is it worth going to Toyota dealer for service?

I bought a 2018 chr hybrid last year. It has full service history in the Toyota dealership.

I'm wondering if it's worth spending a bit extra to continue to get it serviced by Toyota or does it really matter. Does the Hybrid make a difference when getting it serviced elsewhere?

Also can anyone tell me just how more expensive it is or what I can expect to pay by taking it to Toyota?

Generally no its not worth going to a main dealer. But in Toyotas case you get 12 months warranty with every service so it could be worth your while.

Plus they cover the hybrid battery up to 10 years.

For the hybrid battery warranty I would. If it was the non hybrid I wouldn't bother.

Yes I'm unsure if it will cover beyond 10 if the car was not Irish from new even with full dealer history.

Go to the dealer for the basic service which will include the hybrid check, anything else bring it to an independent or diy.

hybrid check / warranty has to be worth it - independent wont know much about car like this

In the T&C's it says the geographical extent of the extended warranty covers all of Europe and the UK.

Interestingly that excludes Japan.

Yes it is, it extends your warranty to 10 years or 100,000km
