Virgin media bill payment issue

    Hi there I paid my virgin media bill on Saturday with my partners debit card .it was due yesterday so I paid it in advance as I didn't have enough money in my account.however I received a message on my banking app today saying my bill is due,I usually pay through direct debit,so could anyone tell me would I just ignore the reminder from the bank? Thank you.

    Saturday was cutting it much too fine, the direct debit will have already been sent for collection at that point.

    From the Bank's point of view, they will treat this as a legitimate bill, and will probably try to take it again later.
    If they normally charge you for missed DDs, that may kick in too.

    Ignoring it is probably a bad idea, you'd be better off trying to cancel this instance of the DD
