    Pressure washer.

    I wouldn't take a pressure washer within an asses roar of those particular bricks.

    If its a relatively small area , a good scrubing brush should sort most of it out , without having to resort the acid ...

    Recently did this on garden walls,use Santrax,brush it in leave for 10 minutes, power wash, wear heavy gloves and face mask

    I will try that but its a shared wall with my neighbour and don't want to use anything strong that would harm her side of the wall

    I've a vision of you just planning on cleaning a few bricks on top of a shared wall , and then a few small acid spills later , having to scrub down your neighbours entire garden wall ..

    Scrubbing wouldn't do,she would be looking for a full repaint
