    guys,

    Anyone replaced one recently?

Looking to see if any of the normal places sell them that are already programmed or don’t need any coding to the car.

Loads for sale on adverts, Amazon, online but what to make sure before buying.

    Thanks.

They can't be sold already programmed because of how they work.

You install it in the car and then you program the car to say that RFID tag number xxxxxxx is the front right wheel and that's how it knows that that's the front right wheel for example.

It's not the wheel sensor that needs programming it's the car

Cheers. So all these ads saying plug and play, no coding are incorrect.

This may be beyond my Bimmercode limitations 😀

Its not complicated to do, most high end scanners can do tmps.
You don't even need a tool to read the ID tag as its printed on the sensor, you just need to write it down before its fitted inside the tyre as obviously you cant see it then without a reader.

    This video shows the process:

Cheers. I have the tool that picks up the signal, hence knowing which one was not transmitting.

I have a BMW one coming now. Fitting is the easy bit 😀
