Joe, What about the money taken from our Pension Funds. If the gubbermen directly dipped their hands into people bank accounts there would be war.

Joe Duffy is a wonderful, wonderful public service broadcaster.

Inheritance Tax is a topic on the lips of everybody in the country I speak to these days. It's all everybody is talking about. Well that and finger prints.

In a week where there is absolutely nothing else happening, it's great that Liveline have their finger on the pulse of the nation

Well done Joe. Well done, well done, well done.

Oh our national debt is increasing cos we have to send 200 Gardai out to Coolock.

Did Joe see what we are paying to provide accommodation for asylum seekers at all.

Is that not adding to our national debt?

In principle certainly not advised, my mother trusted me hugely, she wanted the very best for me, she knew so well my level of conscientiousness throughout my life, and knew how much I loved her. I made sure her remaining years were the very best, brought her to tons of places, and she died literally in harness looking forward to her 90th party, but didn’t quite make it to that.

Not getting this lad. Equitable distribution of wealth. Sure taxes are doing that already and start taxing JP McManus and Bono equitably first if that’s what you want to do.

With the Lotto, one person can buy a ticket, and if they win the jackpot, they can add whoever they want to it before they go to the Lotto HQ, and everyone will get their share tax free.

But if they claim the win on their own, then anyone after that has to pay tax if they are gifted some of the money, even if it's a minute after the transfer.

With ag relief nowadays Patrick with his big farm would probaby pay nothing in CAT . But someone inheriting a small low value farm may not get ag relief so its not very equitable at all.

there is a fancy hotel near me taking in 120 or so. I believe it's €85 per night per head. That's over €10K per night. It's an enormous scam. This is going all all over the country.

God, if you live in a well-ordered country you have to pay taxes, Joe!!

Look mate! If we gave 100% of our earnings to the state, they’d only pi$$ more of it away on stupid stuff like tents and plaques than they do now.
