Is it worth getting the Nord VPN from the online store on the box so i can watch English channels and record them? and maybe get ITV, Channel 5 and BBC player.

there’s no discussion of circumventing regional restrictions here.
Linear services from BBC and Channel 4 are available on Vodafone TV Play.
