i'm surprised they still include a charger. is it a 65w charger or just a bog standard charger does anybody know?

Could you get away with not paying tax on the OnePlus Nord?

You have to pay vat no matter what the price, amazon sort that themselves if dispatched by them.

There's no customs duties for smartphones, so whether the price is over or under €150 doesn't matter.

i see some cheap...very cheap...75 inch tvs on early prime day sales...but not on uk site...i wonder will large tvs see much of a discount.

I'm paying as want to see activations straight away, far as I remember you have to wait for the clip to fully record then go into the archived clips which takes time. If I hear a noise that wakes me in bed I can view and hear front and back of the house live, or if deliveries arrive while out I can tell the driver to leave them in a safe place.

The cable is particular to OnePlus as well - you can't just plug a standard USB cable in and get the same speed. It WILL charge the phone, just at normal USB-C charging rates. Using the red cable to charge other devices can be hit and miss or used to be. We have several OnePlus chargers in the house, and one of the older one wouldn't charge a Samsung tablet. More recent ones do, so I guess they've addresses it.

The warp charging is neat however

Not that I've noticed. I upgraded to the 12R earlier this year and the charge rate is variable. It eases off once it hits I think 90% (I think this can be turned off but that would hit battery life I'd imagine). Also if charging overnight, the 12R aims to just finish off charging before your usual wake-up time - not sure how many models this goes back.

From a practical viewpoint, I'd used my Nord for about 3-1/2 years and battery life was still excellent. I'd easily get a full day out of it in normal use.

Consistently fast charging to 100% will degrade the battery over time.
