Not really a political comment. I saw Micheál Martin give a very short interview and I had little interest but I was massively impressed with the building he was in!

An incorrect google search by me found Cork County hall which imo seems to be a quite ugly multi-story building. Try again.

I found Cork City Hall and I just say the interior is stunning. Being quite unfamiliar with Cork I was very impressed with this building. It seems they sometimes hold classical music concerts there and I definitely would consider making a trip

Some poor chap in Cork city got 25 votes. That'll take some beating as the lowest vote count in the country. He literally must have no family over here (he's got a foreign name) to end with a total like that. Even the guy who promised that he'd send all the firefighters to Lanzarote, rename the GAA and force RTE to pay everyone 5 grand managed to get 86 votes.

They are …. and it is good to see the far right lunatics are gaining v little ground …. all the wannabe Trumps, Hitlers and Commander Freds can return to their den …. these loud minority try to stoke fear with their anti-migrant, anti-gay, anti-EU, anti-mask, anti-vaccine, anti-turbine, anti everything agenda …. they were at it in 2019 and 2020 too in the elections and during Covid and ever since …. people are just sick of them at this stage and see through them ….

When looking at some of them they are what you'd expect ….. individuals with a criminal background who look like cannon fodder for the main protagonists of Love/Hate and Kin …. but others should be utterly ashamed of themselves to be involved ….. architects, teachers, lecturers, etc ….. are these professions paying extremely poorly these days or something??!! …. you'd think they'd know better ….

Like a person said on the news earlier they would not vote for these as he called them Nazi parties …. he said then they are well organised and are funded …. which I 100% agree with …. these movements are saying the same in every country and many countries have fallen to them and it is going on since around 1979 ….. but gaining more ground in recent times ….

What is popularly called 'far right' also can be called 'far left' …. a whole thing is one goes too far left they become far right and vice versa ….. a BETTER term may well be extreme political obsession that manifests itself as violence …. The Khmer Rouge for instance not much different to ISIS …. in both some crackpot peasant got an idea into their head what the 'ideal' society was and some more educated opportunist promoted it and directed it ….

Amother candidate in the running for lowest vote count could be Patrick Feeney in Galway City Central. He is currently on 8 votes.
This is a massive percentage increase from the previous time he ran, when he secured 1 vote.
At least he believed enough in himself to throw himself a vote.

Was he that of a crackpot that he couldn't even get his family to vote for him them? 😀
