The trial of Molly Martens

I hope she nevers gets a nights peace.

The one comfort we can take is their family, including the wife/mother, surely all know what kind of disgusting and depraved humans they actually really are and have to live with knowing what their loved ones actually did.

All might appear rosy and united to the outside world but I'm sure behind closed doors it's a different story.

I hope Molly and Tom are haunted by night terrors of what they did.

I think it's disgusting that the media refer to her by her double barreled surname. She should be made drop the Corbett name.

I suspect it was 98% her and the father was a willing participant. Something not right there mentally imo.

Just watched tonight's program, they seem to have skipped over the second trial where the children gave evidence.

Program was a repeat of a 2021 doc. From before the retrial.

from the web- my understanding is that this is purely a condition for the probationary period only and not something that will continue after the probationary period ends in June 2025 I think

Article behind a paywall but in essence it’s saying that Mollys family will be keeping a very close eye on her- there’s “rumours” of a tell all book or TV production — she’ll be living with her brother at least for the duration of the parole period- I imagine the book or tv deal is speculation only at this point -obviously Molly is broke given the costs of the legal defence-

I imagine this will be a big strain on her brothers family- we know Molly is prone to pushing boundaries in her own twisted world and it’s been that way since her childhood - living with her won’t be easy and I reckon she’ll be back to true form in no time- there’s likely any number of weirdos out there who would happily commence a relationship with her so it will be a full time job keeping her on the straight and narrow- she’s probably more of a danger now than she ever was.

I hope the family have learned that outsourcing her to a husband or partner doesn’t make her issues go away.

I'm no lawyer and I know it's been done before but I thought there was a law that says you can't profit from your crime?

Yeah, agree. Just finished it now. Certainly does leave an air of "questions" about some stuff. Kind of a bit of a questionable spin.

What trauma those poor kids gave been through. Absolutely horrendous.
